Demi Moore wore a burnt-orange dress with glittering broach to a soiree in LA; Rachel Nichols draped herself in a sexy white by Kaufman Franco gown for her G.I. Joe promotion; Katherine Heigl showed off her bright side in London wearing a paillette creation by Naeem Khan; Ciara donned a body-con dress by Herve Leroux; and Kirsten Dunst opted for a cute blue Miu Miu strapless minidress. Each beauty stuns in her own way, but which star shines the brightest?

The CFDA awards are officially underway. We've all been waiting anxiously for this - let's start the fashion festivities with Kirsten Dunst. The actress just arrived wearing a sexy asymmetrical minidress by Rodarte. If a marble ball were the inspiration, this would be the result. Gray patent buckle booties and a metallic clutch further feed into her futuristic look. Do you approve?

The Look For Less: Ray-Ban Wayfarer

As I've preached, sunnies are the coolest accessory. Like so many, Kirsten Dunst has fallen back in love with the Ray-Ban Wayfarer ($139). This '80s revived trend is still going strong; only problem is I'm a stickler for shades and can't fathom spending that much on such a trendy piece.

These Forever 21 Sunglasses ($7) have the same fun shape and styling as the Ray-Ban's but at a tiny fraction of the price. The bright-colored frames are red hot and I love the polished metal accents.

Cheap & Chic: '90s Grunge

No one does sloppy chic better than Kristen Dunst. Here she is on the streets of SoHo looking '90s grunge fabulous in a loose plaid top, short shorts, and flats.

The plaid top itself screams '90s but leave it to Kirsten to put icing on the cake with her signature Ray-Ban Wayfarers and messy hair. When wearing grunge garb, make sure to keep something loose and something fitted - wrinkles optional!

The way I see it, this is the chance for stars to shine, so I've got no love for those who dim in the spotlight. Whether it be a bold color, a shocking silhouette, or breathtaking bling, all these ladies have stepped up to the Oscars plate. In no particular order - although Emily Blunt stole my heart in Calvin Klein at the Oscars last year - I present to you my best-dressed list of Oscars past . . . Ready for the Oscars? Kirsten Dunst is really throwing herself into the fashion ring recently: first appearing in the Spring Miu Miu ads and now collaborating with luxe knitwear line Lutz + Patmos.

She follows in the footsteps of Liv Tyler, Sofia Coppola, and Julianne Moore, who have all designed for the cashmere-friendly label in the past, and her capsule collection debuts on Feb. 3, during the upcoming New York Fashion Week!

Fab Ad: Miu Miu Spring '08

I think I just found the inspiration for my bedroom . . . or shall I say, boudoir? As a long time fan of the purple and red color combo, the dark shadows and moody feel of the latest crop of Miu Miu ads definitely intrigues. I am also a long time fan of Kirsten and think she is the perfect fit for the brand. The only thing I'm not thrilled about here is the actual clothes. This was one of my least favorite collections of Spring - a hodgepodge of French maids, Pierrots, harlequin and Playboy bunnies - and I ultimately felt the clothes weren't very wearable. But, Kristen wears the Spring offerings very well and with a subtle suggestion of kink. Miu Miu, reconsidered.

Fab Flash: Kirsten Dunst, Miu Miu Campaign Star

Following in a long line of PYTs - think Lindsay Lohan, Selma Blair, and Maggie Gyllenhaal - Kirsten Dunst is set to be the face of Miu Miu's Spring campaign. She posed for the images in LA last week, shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott. I think her off-kilter, youthful style is the perfect match for Prada's younger sis.

Meanwhile, it appears Kirsten is not the only celeb to front a major fashion campaign for Spring: Rumors have reached a fever pitch about Victoria Beckham starring in the Marc Jacobs campaign. Could it be? We'll just have to wait and see...
