It's almost party time people. Catch up on your sleep and get your party wardrobe in order now to avoid holiday burnout. While you could go the princess route, like Kristen Stewart did at the New Moon LA premiere, on the other side of the red carpet, was Dakota Fanning in a flirtatious lace Valentino frock and satin party platforms. I have a black lace-up Banana Republic pair I'm looking forward to dusting off, though fanciful colors like blood red, fuchsia, and navy have their own appeal.

The season premiere of Gossip Girl had Blair Waldorf emoting Upper East Side sass in an ensemble that only a true fashionphile can appreciate. While stalking the NYC streets with the always dapper Chuck Bass, the high school graduate wore a decadent brocade dress with a chunky gold chain bracelet. She added a youthful touch by accessorizing with a funky L.A.M.B. clutch and lace-up spectator booties. What a perfect mixture of sophistication and sass - so Blair, so beautiful. Trend Alert: Yummy Yellow Footwear

Yellow always make its way back into our lives and I'm sure you can see why. It's bright, it's cheery, and is magnificent for showing off a sun-kissed tan. Nude shoes look great with anything, really. They elongate the leg and are the sexiest neutral around. Or, you can opt to go head-to-toe nude like Penelope Cruz, goodie nude shoes. Her banded Dolce & Gabbana is near nude perfection; her satin Very Prive Louboutins are insanely Fab. I have some classic nude patent Brian Atwood pumps that I always grab in a crunch. It's a worthy investment, but I recommend shopping for your nudes in the flesh to ensure a perfect skin match.

Her fashion sense is undoubtedly cool, that's why she created L.A.M.B, but let's dig deeper. When Gwen first hit the big time in 1995, she was wearing eccentric rock and punk ensembles - complete with blue hair and crazy braids. Last weekend, I entertained my friends with my bowling skills, or rather, my lack thereof. After a late dinner, we headed over to the local alley for some midnight bowling.
