Lauren Conrad's Literary Journey Continues

Who knew LC was going to go from The Hills to fashion design back to The Hills and then into the literary world? Works for me. Now that the ex-Hills star has more time on her hands, she has added another project to her budding book club. LA Candy was released earlier this year, and next year we have a style guide to listen to. Titled Lauren Conrad Style, the fashion guide is slated for Fall 2010. Conrad shared: "I think fashion should be fun and reflective of who you are," she says. "I know this guide will offer simple, practical tips to help anyone look fabulous." Plus, LA Candy's sequel Sweet Little Lies in due out Feb. 2. Thoughts?

The less-expensive collection - the most pricey item is $60 - is finally here and ready to devour. Expect pretty chiffon tops, sharp blazers, skinny jeans, and flirty frocks. While Rebecca Minkoff was expanding her fashion empire, showing her capsule Spring RTW collection and newest trendy accessories at New York Fashion Week, Lauren Conrad and Michelle Tractenberg dropped by in the same black and white polka-dot blouse - I'm guessing it's from the designer's aforementioned collection. Lauren upped the style ante in cropped leather pants, while Michelle shined via peep-toe patent pumps. Lauren grabbed the turquoise RM clutch, Michelle is a red RM bag/matching red lips kinda gal. Who worked this classic blouse better?

It was the much talked about season finale of The Hills last night - Lauren Conrad said goodbye to the cast while Kristin Cavallari said hello. We didn't get to see that much of Kristin, but if she's anything like her sassy Laguna Beach self, then I'm so tuning in next season.
