Fab Finding Follow-Up: Sunday Football

Last weekend, my friend threw a Sunday Football bash and I asked you to help me find a cute casual look for the festivities. Sure enough, I indulged in sinful cheesy dips and BBQ wings, but no regrets here. That's what exercising is for, right? I had so much fun, I even stopped by my parents' house and joined my dad in watching the evening game.

I started you off with these Falke Striggings Arm Warmers ($29) because they were sporty and cozy. Let's see what you all came up with!

Look #1, created by maria212134, is all about sporty fun. Those vintage Chucks are dope, and I'll skip the cute cardigan since I have my trusty arm warmers.

Note the lack of men on the streets these past couple Sundays. Don't worry, it's not you: it's football season. Though I'm a girlie girl at heart, I indulge in a couple pigskin festivities every season. This weekend, my friend's throwing a Sunday Football bash. Tons of cuties will be present, so help me find a cute casual look. No heels, no fluff. All the guys will be glued to the screen, but there's always half-time, right?

There is perhaps no Winter fashion more fleeting than leg warmers, but that's no reason not to buy a pair! Seriously, these retro cold-weather accessories may be silly, but they are also highly practical for this season's leggings and skinny jeans styles, so why not wear them while they're hot? Just try not to wear your leg warmers at the same time you're sporting a pair of arm warmers.

From wide belts to footless leggings, there's no arguing that 1980s styles are sneaking into the Fall 2006 fashion trends. But seriously, can we really herald the return of leg warmers? For years, fashion magazines have been warning that they might come back into style, and just yesterday, I spotted these Alice & Olivia Leg Warmers for sale here for $117. Though I'd never pay that much for leg warmers, there's just something about this silly fad that makes me want to dress my lower legs in these cozy tubes of warmth. What about you? Love it or hate it?
