I get it - not many of you are thrilled about the idea of wearing leotards to the gym. They can be uncomfortable, add to the sweat factor, and they don't always stay put like traditional workout pants. But what about tights? If you were heading to a dance class or a Black Swan inspired workout, tights could be kind of fun. Especially when they come in fun colors like the ones above. Dancers Unite! Leotards Are Back With a Vengeance

Movies like Dirty Dancing, Fame, and Footloose paved the way for dance-obsessed youth in the '80s. And now with Black Swan, ballet-based Bar Method classes, and butt-busting dance routines with celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson, we're all falling prey to the dance craze.

Celebrities like Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, and Rihanna have been rocking the leotards for quite some time now - yes, on the stage and off (although I think it's safe to say Lady Gaga is always sporting some sort of leotard-ware). And actresses Ellen Pompeo and Emmy Rossum both sport them to the gym. But I'm curious to see if you've embraced the leotard trend as much as these celebs have? I'm still trying to branch away from my traditional black workout wear, so I can't say I've built up enough courage to wear leotards. And what do you wear with leotards - Lycra shorts like Emmy has on here? Or maybe one of those swimsuit-style onesies?

A friend of mine is in a modern dance group and they're having their recital soon. She invited me to go, and though I'm excited to see her moves, I'm nervous about my outfit. The only other dance recital I've been to was my little cousin's ballet class. I want to look dance-inspired but not foolish. You think you can help? A pretty leotard might be fun to experiment with.

Victoria Beckham Talks Insecurities and Inspiration in i-D

Victoria Beckham gets quirky on the cover of i-D magazine's "Whatever the Weather" issue, which hits newsstands on Feb. 9. She posed in skimpy clothes for the playful spread after also donning a leotard in Numéro Tokyo last month. Victoria's been working on her collection in London as she gears up for Fashion Week while her husband, David, recently debuted his own underwear line for H&M. Victoria chatted about her insecurities and inspiration for her clothes in the publication. Here's more from Victoria Beckham in i-D magazine:

On her changing style: "When I started it was all about the corset dress. That's what people associated me with, and possibly if I'm honest a sign of my own insecurities as well. But the older I get and the more comfortable I am in my own skin, the more I realise that to look great and feel great I haven't always got to wear something tight."
On her design inspiration: "I don't follow fashion and I don't follow trends, I just follow my instincts and think what do I want to wear? What am I feeling for next season?"

Meet Alicia Sacramone, Olympic Beauty

The 2012 London Olympics kick off on July 27, but the US team members are already in game mode. We caught up with gymnast Alicia Sacramone, Team USA's vault expert, to find out what it's like to be a professional gymnast day to day. "A lot of people think we’re younger than we are because we’re in spandex and we’re little," Alicia says. "So all the time people are like, 'How old are you? Are you 14, 15?' And I’m like, 'I’m 24.'"

When it comes to the makeup gymnasts are known for, the shades aren't a spur-of-the-moment decision, and not every beauty product is welcome. "We’re not allowed to have colored nail polish when we’re competing," Alicia told us. As for color palettes, "It’s kind of a process," she admits. "You pick out your leotard and your warm-up suit a couple months in advance. Then I base my makeup off that." Typically, the P&G Beauty spokes-athlete can be seen wearing the brand's makeup, especially their lip gloss and stain, on the mat. "I try to have my eye shadows matching my leotard," Alicia adds. "That's one of the big things."

Jennifer, Violet, and Seraphina kicked off their weekend with a trip to dance class, and Violet was decked out in her ballet leotard. She'll have the chance to dress up again tomorrow, though some families have already been spotted out in character ahead of the holiday. Amy Adams's daughter Aviana wore a cat outfit at the pumpkin patch, while Katherine Heigl's little one wore a princess dress this afternoon. Celebrities have gotten in on the festivities too, with Kate Hudson's annual bash bringing out many famous faces in costume last night.
