Britney's Been Restrained and Exploited

After Britney's breakdown last week, we can't really say that we're surprised to see that she's the unfortunate cover girl of this week's magazines, covering everything from her mental illness to her children to suicide watch. The latest news on Brit is that the LAPD filed a five-day restraining order against Britney last week to keep her kids safe. Even though the order ends today, Britney still won't have any custody of the kids until the next hearing on Monday.

As for the whole Dr. Phil situation, the Spears family sent a representative to the Today Show this morning to publicly accuse Dr. Phil of violating their trust by making public statements and exploiting Britney. We still can't figure out why they ever trusted him in the first place.

How the Stars Get Bikini Ready

Life & Style is reporting on how our favorite stars are getting bikini ready this year. Looks like they are turning to Brazil. Brazilian trainer and author of The Brazilian Bikini Body Program, Regina Joseph, gives us the scoop.

Drew practices Pilates! Forget dieting! Drew Barrymore prefers to burn calories with a workout that includes Pilates, one of the most popular pastimes in Brazil. For a complete cardio session, fitness pro Joseph details a combo of core Pilates moves and capoeira (a Brazilian martial art that includes cartwheels, kicks and flips) in her book.
Cam eats early in the day! An always active Cameron Diaz gets going with a protein-packed breakfast of eggs and meat. "The beginning and middle of the day are when you need a big burst of energy," says Joseph. "In Brazil, evening meals are smaller and lighter." That leaves plenty of room for desert!
Denise's smart snack! "I need foods that energize me," says Denise Richards, who revs up on the Amazon-grown acai berry (now available in stores like Whole Foods Market. Says Joseph, "An Acai smoothie provides enough fiber and protein to last until lunch."
Kristen never feels hungry! "I stopped dieting because it made me binge," Kristen Cavallari tells Life & Style. The reality show alum solved her dieting dilemma by opting for smaller, more frequent meals (she snacks on almonds) to curb her cravings. Explains Joseph, "Meals and snacks spaced throughout the day help keep blood sugar up."
Gisele fills up on fruit! Brazilian-born Gisele Bundchen can thank her homeland for her supermodel bod. The Victoria's secret stunner says her fav foods are tropical fruits from her country - which she considers to be the "best place to live."

Tyra Banks: I Don't Have to Shave My Legs

Many women would say that shaving their legs is their least favorite beauty task, but for Tyra Banks, there's no need to bother with the the razors-and-shaving-cream rigmarole in the first place. Tyra explains to Life & Style, "I don't have to shave my legs," adding, "The hair is so faint, you don't even see it." Not all of us are as lucky as Tyra (although what law ever said anyone had to shave their legs, anyway?), who admits there have been times she actually has whipped out the razor. "I used to shave my legs for the Victoria's Secret fashion show . . . and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue shoot," she quips. When Mariah Carey welcomes her twins this month, they'll be coming home to lavish nurseries in both Bel-Air and NYC. The songstress gave an exclusive interview and tour of the babies-to-be's rooms to Life & Style this week, revealing that the nurseries for her son and daughter match but aren't identical so they can "celebrate the twins as separate entities."

Forgoing a pink and blue color scheme, the classically decorated nursery is primarily outfitted in green, with pink accents (and butterflies, of course) scattered throughout. The highlight – a night-sky painted ceiling that the mama-to-be finds herself staring at as she awaits her babies' arrival, "To me, it symbolizes wanting my children to dream as big as possible and to let their imaginations be unbridled." Niki Taylor on Personal Style, Modeling, and the Most Important Thing You Can Do

Niki Taylor landed her first cover - on Seventeen, when she was just 14. For much of the '90s, Niki Taylor was always in a magazine, from Vogue to Sports Illustrated. However, she endured personal tragedy when her sister Krissy died suddenly in 1995 at the age of 17, and in 2001 Niki was in a severe car accident that left the supermodel in a coma for six weeks. If you didn't know, yesterday was World Blood Donor Day, but Niki Taylor would be the first to tell you that everyday should be blood donor day. Today, the mother of three, who is pregnant with her fourth child, talks about her supermodel years, her personal style, and why you should sport a zebra print bandage.

FabSugar: What were some of your favorite experiences in modeling?
Niki Taylor: I have gotten to travel all over the world and meet so many wonderful and interesting people. I think what has been most powerful for me though, is that modeling and being in the public eye has allowed me to give back through initiatives like the Nexcare give program with the American Red Cross.
FS: Why blood?
NT: After receiving 100 units of donor blood after a life-threatening car accident in 2001, the importance of donating blood became so real and so significant for me. This year, Nexcare is handing out free give bandages, and they are extra chic with fashion-inspired designs that show how helping save a life is always in style. As a supporter of blood donation and a lover of fashion, I think the bandages are a perfect way to encourage people to get out there and donate.
