Jessica Simpson Talks Wedding Plans, Weight Gain, and "Styling America" in Lucky

Jessica Simpson was all smiles in a sexy Gryphon New York dress for the cover of Lucky's December issue. She recently announced her pregnancy with a funny Halloween-themed tweet, though at the time of her interview with the magazine Jessica was still keeping the exciting news quiet. Instead, she addressed her "weight gain," talked about her wedding plans with fiancé Eric Johnson, and shared her thoughts on "styling America." Here's more from Jessica in Lucky:

On her weight: "I got so much scrutiny for putting on extra pounds, but I think that the decision not to make myself anorexic was actually great for branding. Because when you’re really, really skinny, not everybody can relate to you. Everybody fluctuates, but I’m open about my weight and I’m still confident. I didn’t cry about it too much."
On meeting Eric and wedding plans: "When I met him I just felt so comfortable with myself and where I was in my life that if he didn’t want to be part of it, he didn’t have to be. I haven’t started shopping for our wedding yet. When I got engaged, everyone thought I would get married immediately, but I have not put a single dress on, and by the time this comes out I will not be married! We’re just enjoying being engaged right now-and that’s honest."
On her brand: "If it has my name on it, I want my stamp of approval to be on it I want to keep my customers coming back. So it’s going to be important to me in these next years to stay focused on the collection. I love that I can dream about paisley, and then two months later, someone’s wearing it. I’m basically styling America."

Jessica Alba covered her baby bump in an animal-print maxi dress by Dolce & Gabbana for a party in LA last night. The bash was held to celebrate a partnership between ThisNext.com and Lucky, which features Jessica on the September cover. Jess was surrounded by pals for the event, which also benefited the Baby 2 Baby charity since Jessica is a board member of the organization. Expecting mom Ali Landry stepped out to support the cause, as did Michelle Trachtenberg, Jordana Brewster, and Jeffrey Allen Marks and Ross Cassidy from Million Dollar Decorators. Lauren Conrad was on hand in another fitted white dress after hitting the red carpet in a neutral mini at a Rebecca Minkoff bash on Tuesday. The always fashionable Lauren Conrad even shared her beach basics on FabSugar.

Lauren Conrad Gets Girly in Paper Crown to Talk MTV and Hating the Gym For Lucky

Lauren Conrad lit up the cover of Lucky's July issue in leather shorts and a blazer. She posed for the magazine in looks from her Paper Crown collection, which will hit stores this Fall. LC's juggling her latest design work with her line for Kohl's, her new website called The Beauty Department, and even a book club. She's also still filming her reality TV show even though MTV passed on the project earlier this year. LC opened up about her relationship with the network, her motivation to be on The Hills, and also shared her Summer essentials - here's more of what Lauren Conrad said in Lucky:

On hating the gym: "I'm just not a fan of the gym. In fact, I hate it. I understand loving the feeling you get after working out all those endorphins. But going there? It's the worst."
On why she did The Hills: "I never wanted to end up in entertainment; that wasn't the goal. I was doing the show to end up in fashion. But I'm totally aware that without The Hills, I wouldn't be where I am."
On MTV not picking up her show: "It didn't feel like a perfect fit. It's difficult to compete with all the Jersey Shore type shows out there. Besides, there weren't any scenes of me getting drunk or fighting, so what's the point?"

Hollywood Hotties Step Out For Lucky's Shop LA Soiree!

Nicole Richie Is a Lucky Girl at Her Cover Party

Nicole Richie toasted to her February Lucky cover with a party at Soho House in LA last night. The designer was joined by her husband Joel Madden as well as friends Ginnifer Goodwin and Zooey Deschanel at the cocktail party, where Nicole debuted lighter, shorter hair courtesy of her stylist Andy LeCompte. Nicole has a lot to celebrate having just unveiled her latest Winter Kate collection, as well. The Old Hollywood-inspired range will hit stores soon, kicking off what promises to be a successful 2011 for the starlet. She married longtime boyfriend Joel in 2010, and this year she'll take on another milestone when she turns 30. She told us she doesn't yet have plans to celebrate the big day, which is still about nine months away, and joked that she's just "trying not to think about it." The Richie-Madden family marked another important day over the weekend, throwing Harlow a third birthday party that was attended by famous family friends like the Maguires and the Stefani-Rossdales. So does little Harlow share Nicole's passion for fashion? Nicole said she thinks her daughter's still a bit young to show a real interest in style, but the three-year-old will certainly have an amazing closet to borrow from when she's old enough!

Lucky Girl Diane Kruger Rings in the Holidays With Style

As the face of Calvin Klein fragrance, she recently shared her favorite beauty advice with Bella and now she's divulging the secrets to achieving her chic style. Diane is traveling between projects after promoting her latest film, Inhale, which made its limited stateside release last month. Up next, we'll see her opposite Liam Neeson in the dramatic thriller Unknown early next year. Here are highlights from the magazine:

Diane on fashion: "If you have a beautiful dress, that's enough-you don't need much else."
On embracing the look of her characters: "I actually just had my ear pierced, and it still kind of hurts, I love it-but my mom was not so pleased."
Her style evolution: "I look back at pictures of myself from 10 years ago and go, ‘What was I thinking?'"
On choosing an Oscar gown: "At the Oscars everyone wears the same strapless princess dress with their hair pulled back. I wanted to wear something different, and Karl Lagerfeld was like, 'Please wear this!' It was his favorite Chanel dress."
