We started watching Hart of Dixie because of actress, style star and sometimes-rapper Rachel Bilson-as well as the promise of her character's Rag & Bone-filled “New York” wardrobe. But we ended up totally obsessing over Jaime King’s mean girl character Lemon Breeland. She constantly terrorizes short shorts-wearing Bilson, yet we still can’t help but like her-and her Southern Belle wardrobe.

King’s former career as a model probably helps her make the '50s happy housewife look come across as modernly hip, despite the fact that Lemon’s closet seems to only consist of pink flower hair clips, pastel cardigans, floral tea party dresses and flowy tie-front georgette blouses. While wearing the complete Lemon look every day of the week might be a bit much, it would be fun to mix a piece or two into your wardrobe.

When I first read The Hunger Games trilogy, I preferred to compare myself to story's brave heroine, Katniss Everdeen. But as much as I admire the resourceful tribute of District 12, I have way more in common with the image obsessed Capitol citizens. Let's be honest here: if similar events happened in New York City, you bet I'd be watching it go down on E! and loving every second of it.

It seems that the Panem masses and I also share another passion-a love of amazing shoes. Capital Couture, a fashion and gossip forum for the residents of the fictitious city, has a section dedicated to the footwear of well-heeled locals.

Although none of the shots provide shopping credits, I couldn't resist searching for these dreamy shoes in the real world. Some of the exact pieces are available online now and the ones that aren't have similar options available. Click through the slideshow below to get the looks for yourself.

Arm parties and expertly layered necklaces are great-except in winter, when bare limbs and necklines are hidden like, 70 percent, of the time. Cold weather kills my motivation to accessorize (along with my will to do anything other than watch Downton Abbey), since I know most people I bump into will only see my giant parka, boots, scarf and windchapped face anyway.

But maybe I'll invest in a pair of doorknocker earrings to distract from my bulky ensemble and red cheeks. They're the laziest way to look a little bit more glamorous in even the most industrious winter outfit. Or, with a cocktail dress and studded anything, they conjur Madonna's devastatingly cool '80s look-without the Aquanet or shoulder pads.
