Lately I have been overwhelmed with the abundance of style. We're gonna shake things up this week and give props to several folks and their sharp aesthetic. Summer is in effect, bods are in shape, experimentation abounds. I even threw in a couple stylish men this week - I'm sure you won't mind what with Milan men's Fashion Week and all. Dramatic white frocks (i.e. Blake in sultry Roberto Cavalli) and prints stood out to me, as well as perfect fits and sleek accessorizing. Here's the week's faves . . .

Swarovski Store Opening Gathers Famous Jewelry Fans

It was the Swarovski Crystallized concept store opening in NYC last night, so as you can imagine, there was no shortage of sparkle. Famous jewelry fans like Blake Lively, Chloë Sevigny, Lucy Liu, and Evan Rachel Wood all attended and partied around the bling. I'm sure a few of them even went home glitter-handed. From the looks of it, it's a minimalist, modern store, one side with a rustic brick wall. Of course, cases upon cases house Swarovski's magical baubles. Side note: Swarovski was set to dress the late Michael Jackson in 300,000 crystals for his London tour. That would have been out of this world. Step inside to discover the brand's new store.

Accessory-Crazed Lucy Liu: Love It or Hate It?

Lucy Liu is a red carpet frequenter, but I especially love seeing what she'll put together off duty. The actress was spotted leaving the Kabbalah Center in NYC in an outfit that is neither too fancy nor too casual. From this look I can gather that Lucy is accessory-crazed - she's sporting a thick leather tie belt, chunky necklace, oversize sunnies, colorful mules, and a big black bag. Are you feeling this look or is it too accessory heavy?

Ferretti and bubbly? Yes, please. Parties are aplenty in Hollywood, but when it's for Alberta Ferretti and Vogue, you bring it proper. That's exactly what celebs did at Alberta Ferretti's flagship store party on Melrose. Everyone looked Fab - there were many stunners. Nicky, January, and Nicole shimmered in metallic tones, while Lucy and Sanaa experimented with cool blues. All Alberta Ferretti, all amazing. Which party look do you prefer?

They call it mellow yellow. Victoria Beckham went mellow when she wore Roland Mouret's Kieber dress in primrose yellow dress recently. Lucy Liu attended a 2008 Summer TCA Tour press conference in Mouret's Montparnasse dress in the same color. Posh opted for a '60s-inspired look, chignon and all, while Lucy went more modern with turquoise earrings and patent nude Yves Saint Laurent sandals. Which lady would you say pulls off pale yellow flawlessly?
