Kate Middleton's Vacation-Ready Purchases

Kate Middleton caused major excitement yesterday when she hit High Street stores - clad in a black Issa dress and tan kitten heels - to pick up summery pieces worthy of, ahem, a vacation or perhaps a honeymoon, if one were just married. Regardless of why Kate was in the market for Summer clothes, on the eve of her royal wedding, it's nice to see her out shopping like a normal person. At Warehouse, she picked dresses with tropical prints, and according to the Daily Mail, at Peter Jones she chose a pair of Marc Jacobs sunglasses, and blue and white trousers and a yellow top from Whistles. She even hit up a London outpost of Banana Republic, although the retailer refuses to divulge any details. What are your honeymoon essentials?

Levi's Warholian Presentation

We're thrilled to present our favorite Lucky story here on Fab!

Seriously, there's nothing (nothing, nothing, nothing) that I love more than a room full of people wearing Levi's. At last night's Levi's fall presentation it wasn't just the models-pretty much the entire crowd paid an homage to the brand. The models-and the clothing-served as their own art installations. There was even a dude in a bathtub!

As our deputy digital editor Steph Trong so eloquently tweeted, "There is something Warholian about these in-situ displays at the Levi's event." And I think she's right-Wooster St. did sort of feel like The Factory. Our favorite pieces: striped sweaters over plaid shirts (side note: plaid. Another trend we won't let die), floral Henleys, fitted army vests and of course SKINNY JEANS.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen Celebrate Their CFDA Nomination

Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen posed in pink and black last night on their way into the CFDA's annual nomination ceremony in NYC. The girls were in for a surprise - they earned a nod in the Swarovski emerging womenswear design category for The Row! They'll find out if they've clinched the prize during the ceremony on June 6, when Lady Gaga, who's accepting the fashion icon honor, is expected to attend alongside lifetime achievement winner Marc Jacobs. Mary-Kate and Ashley have been longtime supporters of the fashion advocacy group, having attended their awards last year. The girls are now focusing on expanding The Row with menswear and new embellished sunglasses. Mary-Kate, though, has still had time to focus on her acting, with the poorly received Beastly hitting theaters last weekend.

eLUXURY and Fab Play Dress Up: Marc Me

I was so proud of Marc and his Marc Jacobs collection last night, and I was very happy to be dressed in his contemporary line today.

Some days, an LBD does the job. Actually, most days. This Marc by Marc Jacobs Ruffled Jacquard Dress lasted me all day and all night. This dress is slightly '80s, with the asymmetrical zipper, but the faint polka dot print (have to see up close) creates texture and it is so comfortable. I also adore the Marc by Marc Jacobs Metal Check Groovee bag - you may recall it was in this month's most wanted. It's Marc meets Bottega, and the gold woven leather matches all my gold jewelry.

Speaking of, I tend to mix and match metals, and I did just that with the silver zipper, gold detailed bag, and the kitschy Martin Margiela bow ring - which is so fun. Varied metals, along with a smart LBD and purple sunglasses, made for a cool, thoroughly modern, Fashion Week look. What do you think?
