With famed shutterbug Juergen Teller lending his signature brand of no-frills photography to Marc's campaigns for the last 14 years, we've come to expect nothing less than memorable editorials. From his longtime friend Sofia Coppola starring in a series of the perfume ads poolside in 2002 and Winona Ryder's cheeky shopping spree spread in 2003 to Elle Fanning's retro gamine vibe for Fall 2011, the campaigns have always featured a mix of cool-girl style and pop-culture quirk. And of course, who could forget Victoria Beckham's doll persona peeking out of bags and garment boxes in Spring 2008? Marc Jacobs and Sephora Plan a Makeup Line

Marc Jacobs has been a busy man. One of fashion's most influential designers recently unveiled his new perfume Dot, which will release this July. And already he is looking to his next venture: color cosmetics. Even though the project is in its very early stages, Marc is optimistic about his foray into makeup. “I see makeup, fragrance - everything, really - as an opportunity," he explained to WWD. "The idea of choosing a color for your lip, or an eyeliner - it's just such a delight. Anything that is part of the joy, the ritual, of getting dressed - that's what fashion's about for me."

The line will be a collaboration with Sephora, and there is no launch date set just yet. "We currently are working on defining what Marc Jacobs cosmetics will be, what they'll say, what makes them distinctive," he said. Whatever Marc decides his makeup line will "say," we hope it features the red lipstick models wore on his Fall 2012 runway. So tell us, what do you want from Marc Jacobs cosmetics?

This New Marc Jacobs Perfume Seems Pretty (Lady)Buggy

Leave it to Marc Jacobs to create a new perfume that's adorable and eccentric in equal measure. The new scent, Dot, won't hit shelves Stateside until August, but from the look of its packaging and its listed notes, it should be in good company with its sister fragrances, Daisy and Lola. Dot's bottle (above) looks a lot like Daisy, if Daisy decided to dress up like Minnie Mouse and hit the town, that is.

The scent profile, on the other hand, seems to be reminiscent of Lola's, employing the same vanilla and creamy musk base, but topped off with sweet floral notes like honeysuckle, jasmine, and orange blossom. Dot also has a coconut water note, suggesting that it may be a more tropical scent than its predecessors. But we'll have to wait and see on that front. So far, though, this is one of the few times we wouldn't mind having a big old bug sitting on our vanities.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Kristen Stewart Show Their Love for Louis Vuitton in Paris

To close out Paris Fashion Week, Marc Jacobs partied with a handful of his fashionable, A-list friends including Kristen Stewart, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Sarah Jessica Parker to fete the launch of his new exhibition at Musee des Arts Decoratifs called "Louis Vuitton - Marc Jacobs: The Exhibition." The two-floor exhibit showcases an entire floor of original Louis Vuitton, and the second floor features designs that Marc Jacobs has created for the brand. Wearing a black Louis Vuitton suit, Gwyneth revealed that she tends to stick to menswear-inspired pieces because of her long, slender frame, saying she doesn't have Sofia Vergara's curves. Marc Jacobs sure knows how to put on a show! Last season, pastel-clad models got off a carousel, and for Fall, models stepped off a custom-made train onto the runway, complete with uniform-clad porters carrying coveted Louis Vuitton luggage for each girl. Trousers, dresses, and coats were covered in ornate patterns and colors and accessorized with prim floppy hats. More was definitely more when it came to prints, and designer Marc Jacobs featured ladylike silhouettes covered in head-to-toe patterns, infused with a hint of whimsy that we love. Louis Vuitton Fall 2012

Marc Jacobs pulled out all the stops for Louis Vuitton's Fall 2012 collection. The show kicked off with an actual custom-made train steamrolling its way onto the runway. When it came to a full stop, models stepped off (with cute little porters carrying their decadent LV luggage) wearing an array of ladylike silhouettes showcasing Marc Jacobs's signature whimsical touch. Similar to his namesake collection, Jacobs featured oversize silhouettes, but this time, with a more polished touch. Full structured skirts were styled over skinny trousers and fur-collared wool car coats were layered over printed dresses - all of which were styled with Jacobs's now signature oversize floppy hats. Opulent embellishments also came into play; dazzling jewels and ornate embroidery were adorned on an array of coats and suit sets. For evening wear, Jacobs closed out the show with a number of metallic-silver looks, highlighting slightly flared calf-length dresses paired with matching coats. Marc by Marc Jacobs is known for its clean-lined ensembles, playful color combinations, and in the case of the Fall 2012 collection: loose, textured pieces. So what better way to let the clothing shine through than by keeping the upcoming season's beauty look appropriately minimalistic? It's the epitome of cool-girl style, and most of all, surprisingly easy to re-create.

Have the hair: Redken creative consultant Guido Palau opted for a "simple and masculine" ponytail that featured a deep side part and at-the-nape base. In creating the style, hair was blow-dried "dead-straight," Palau explained, and prepped with the brand's Satinwear lotion - for which Palau describes as his "go-to blow-dry product."
Nail the nails: "Marc wanted to portray a look that was innocent but still perfectly groomed," said manicurist Elisa Ferri. To accomplish this feel, models' nails were painted with two coats of Zoya's Adel, a sheer off-white with a creamy finish.
Capture the cosmetics: Shiseido artistic director Dick Page mixed up a custom rouge shade for the show, keeping the vibrant hue the focus of the look. Add a touch of mascara and foundation where needed; geek-chic glasses optional.
