Michelle! Claudia! Two More Celebrity Fashion Lines in the Works

The celebrity designer wheel keeps on turning. The latest star to join the club is Gossip Girl Michelle Trachtenberg. She is teaming up with Coach to design a costume jewelry line under its Poppy label - faux pearls and colorful crystals hit stores in the Spring.

Though there isn't an official deal in the works, Super Claudia Schiffer has also expressed interest in designing. "I have no definite first product in mind, but I would love to do cashmere. It's something I wear all the time myself, but I'd love to do something a bit more price-friendly. . . . Or I could imagine doing handbags," she said. Cool, but not everyone is thrilled with these celebrity designer deals. According to fashion writer Robin Givhan, "I can't imagine Donna Karan saying I'm going to cut an album because her friends say she can sing karaoke." Ouch. Do you agree?

While Rebecca Minkoff was expanding her fashion empire, showing her capsule Spring RTW collection and newest trendy accessories at New York Fashion Week, Lauren Conrad and Michelle Tractenberg dropped by in the same black and white polka-dot blouse - I'm guessing it's from the designer's aforementioned collection. Lauren upped the style ante in cropped leather pants, while Michelle shined via peep-toe patent pumps. Lauren grabbed the turquoise RM clutch, Michelle is a red RM bag/matching red lips kinda gal. Who worked this classic blouse better?

The soon-to-be-launched Anna Sui For Target line gave Gossip Girl actresses a reason to party it up last night. They met up at the Anna Sui For Target pop-up store in NYC, some wearing pieces from the collection. Jessica Szohr opted for sexy, revealing her midriff; Blake Lively looked classy in a tiered frock; Michelle Trachtenberg went for floral; Emma Stone sported an Anna Sui For Target piece, and Taylor Momsen worked her usual punky self. All girls look sassy, but who's most Fab?

Celebs Lunch For Rebecca Minkoff Launch

Bag goddess Rebecca Minkoff launched her Fall clothing collection and invited a few celeb friends to celebrate with a lovely lunch. The location was Confederacy Boutique in LA and guests included Lauren Conrad, Michelle Trachtenberg, Vanessa Minnillo, and Krysten Ritter. The ladies ogled Minkoff's dazzling bags, and somehow I doubt anyone left empty-handed! Judging from Lauren's uncontrollable giggle, everyone was in bag heaven. Luckies.

Who Was Most Fab at the 17 Again LA Premiere?

What is interesting to note about the beauties at the 17 Again LA premiere last night, was the variety. Brittany Snow shook things up in Erin Fetherston, while Michelle Tractenberg glammed it up in Marchesa, and Vanessa Hudgens toughened up a peach Zac Posen dress with a Linea Pelle leather belt. Meanwhile, costar of the film, Leslie Mann (love her), went sweet in a ruffled ivory frock and Amanda Bynes went simple in a mini LBD. I just gave you the rundown, who was the most Fab?

Fab Blab: Hollywood Girls Talk Recession Shopping

There's no denying the current economic crisis. That said, I've been trying my best to save money and cut back on everything - even shopping. Times like these make me envy the lifestyles of the rich and famous, but even they aren't immune to this problem. At New York Fashion Week, Hollywood girls Michelle Trachtenberg, Jessica Stroup, and Nicky Hilton dished on how they've been cutting back on their spending habits.

Michelle Trachtenberg

Michelle likes to mix H&M and Target into her wardrobe. “I have always kept in mind that my fans are teenagers and they don’t have a lot of money to spend. They like to get looks for less.”

Jessica Stroup

Jessica claims she has “always been a bit frugal.” The actress likes to reinvent her old pieces and is always on the lookout for sales.

Nicky Hilton

Even the heiress is getting more money savvy. “I’m being smarter about my spending. I’m not going into stores and buying anything. I am buying more pieces instead of just a bunch of clothes.”
