I've been drooling over Mike & Chris leather jackets for quite a while, but the duo's latest design has me in a daze. This Mike & Chris Bronze Leather Jacket ($885) is très chic.

Metallic? Check. Leather? Check. I really need this awesome jacket but yikes! The price tag will leave me in financial agony. That leaves me with one choice. Find something cheaper, of course.

Now that's much better. This Spiegel Cropped Metallic Leather Jacket ($109, originally $129) is still awfully cute and much more affordable. I like how the scarf collar adds a sophisticated touch to the sheeny texture.

Now that you've got her look, all you need is the never-ending parties, Blair drama, and a quick-witted underdog boy toy. However, that might all be thrown into turmoil with the return of the postal-savvy "G" next week . . .

You know it's Fall when you find yourself craving fuzzies. Frankly, fuzzies are a bit out of control right now - or at least they were at Prada, shown here. While I would totally embrace a fuzzy Prada friend, they happen to run with a different social circle, so I'll settle for a more down to earth, i.e. affordable, homie. These fuzzies come in fabrics like angora, mohair and alpaca.

My style tip is to opt for a cuddly sweater and surround your waist with a skinny belt - oh so Marilyn Monroe.

Trend Alert: In the Trenches

One piece of outerwear you will find in every fashion professional's closet is a trench. The trench has been around for ions - and is functional fashion at its best. First created by Thomas Burberry for the British army officers in World War I, the garment kept the troops warm and dry in the trenches. This coat continues to serve people well in the trenches, with it's ability to be both glamorous and serviceable. With so many incarnations throughout time, most notably by Yves Saint Laurent and Jean Paul Gaultier, the design has barely changed. If you don't have a Fab trench by now, now is the time to take the plunge.

Mike & Chris Hooded Scarf: Love It or Hate It?
