Ciao, Italia! Milan Fashion Week wrapped up, and more than anything there seemed to be a sense of joy that pervaded the collections. Designers played with textures - plastic, raffia, crochet, and fringe - and revisited retro silhouettes like full skirts and cropped tops. There were playful car prints (Prada) and vegetable prints (Dolce & Gabanna). There was bold color. In Milan, the crop top made a huge comeback, and while we're wary of the look in real life, we adored the trend on the runway. There was an overt flirtatiousness from designers, who played with sheer fabrics, thigh-high slits, and dresses that fell off shoulders in the most enticing ways.
