Our favorite style setters slipped into their chicest Calvin Klein cocktail wear for the label's Women in Film fete last night in Cannes. It's like watching Francisco Costa's collections come to life in a bevy of pastel hues and minimalist cuts as the guests stepped out to celebrate the occasion at Villa St George. Diane Kruger showed off a decidedly feminine shape in a fit-and-flare coral dress with white Givenchy heels and Naomi Watts offered up a Calvin Klein staple in a nude slip dress. Shailene Woodley embraced a pretty pastel peach on her simple sheath dress, finished with nude ankle-strap heels, while Jessica Chastain, too, decided on a bright hue on her long-sleeve shift, then opted for white ankle-strap platforms to finish. The ever-stunning Lara Stone selected a silver-hued metallic slip dress, which she finished with subtle nude sandals. Just when we thought we couldn't be more impressed (or in love) with Freida Pinto's pink Michael Angel perfection and Eva Longoria's gauzy Marchesa gown at the Cannes Film Festival opening ceremony, the dazzling duo pulled an outfit-change fast one on us. For the ceremony dinner, both had slipped into something much darker, slinkier, and altogether sexier. While we were hoping that list honorees Pippa and Kate Middleton would surprise us all with an appearance, we were just as pleased to spot the likes of Claire Danes in head-to-toe Lanvin and Rihanna in a princess-worthy pink Marchesa dress and Christian Louboutin heels.
