Is it me, or is it getting chicer in here? Maybe it's the changing of the season, but I had a lot of favorites this week. Let Kerry Washington and Naomi Watts be an example of the style splendor I speak of. If these two powerful women were walking toward me, I'd move out of the way, but ask them where they got their fine duds first. Kerry was a modern lady in her sheer Malandrino blouse and black pencil skirt. Naomi looked darn cute in her cropped Stella McCartney suit and cool aviators. Blam! Charlize Theron doesn't need much to shine, but her crisp cobalt Dior frock at the Burning Plain premiere sure turned up her ferosh factor. Naomi Watts's cropped Dolce & Gabbana suit is pretty dope, but my eyes instantly went downtown to peep her badass black and silver shoes. From the swirl design to the slight metallic glare, they are simply divine. They even look comfortable, sigh. I've been advocating the stylish synergy of black and gold for a while; now it's time to let silver shine. An equally Fab combo, black and silver is modern, sexy, and, you guessed it, badass.

Naomi Watts may be pregnant with her second child but that's not stopping her from looking Fab on the red carpet. She looked royally amazing in a Dolce & Gabbana purple-satin dress topped with a killer Vera Wang snake necklace. The black ankle boots are a refreshing change from the signature red carpet open-toe sandal look. Her tousled hair provides just enough nonchalance without looking disheveled. Love it, love it all.

Fab Flash: Marchesa Designer Georgina Chapman Weds

A month after movie-mogul Harvey Weinstein proposed to Marchesa co-designer Georgina Chapman, the two got married at his Connecticut-waterfront estate Saturday night. Chapman designed her own dress, described to WWD as "a stunning, pleated ivory tulle gown," and paired it with Christian Louboutins.

Celebrity wedding guests included Renee Zellweger, Jennifer Lopez, Naomi Watts, Anne Hathaway, and Cameron Diaz, while the fashion world was well represented by Vogue editor Anna Wintour, Harper's Bazaar editor Glenda Bailey, Natalia Vodianova, Helena Christensen, Rachel Zoe, and Karolina Kurkova. Weinstein and Chapman have been dating since 2005.
