The stars gathered at Gibson Amphitheater in Universal City, CA, last night for the 2009 Los Premios MTV Awards. Many of them opted for short, sexy, and black, including Kelly Rowland, Ashley Tisdale in Camilla & Marc, and Alessandra Ambrosio in Balmain. Singer Nelly Furtado went for a nude Elie Saab dress, while Kelly Osbourne worked a poufy plum D&G. Have a good look, then tell me, which red carpet look rocks your world?

Shoe Designer Spotlight: Courtney Crawford

Growing up in a household with five women, Courtney Crawford was well aware of the importance of a luxurious shoe.

After graduating from college in Florida, Courtney pursued his passion for designing shoes at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. There he garnered his talent and connected with some of the most prestigious players in the fashion industry. During his time at FIT, Courtney secured an internship with milliner and shoe designer Eugenia Kim. After only interning a couple of months with Eugenia, he was appointed head shoe designer for her company. The fresh-faced designer also collaborated with Missoni for her 2007 Spring shoe collection.

Courtney's sexy and confident shoes have charmed many celebs including Lindsay Lohan, Beyonce, Mariah Carey, and Nelly Furtado. Keep your eyes peeled for the debut of his new collection in stores and online!

Grammy Awards Trend Alert: The Moody Blues

Blue is turning out to be a major red carpet trend this season: first at the SAG Awards, and now at the Grammys. Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Nelly Furtado, Beyonce, and Corinne Bailey Rae all represent, running the spectrum from navy to royal to baby blue. Blue is a hot color right now, and it looks Fab on most people . . . I wonder if it will be making an appearance in a big way at the Oscars, too?

MTV Video Music Awards: Sexy in Satin

We've seen it all on the red carpet - metallics, LBDs, fuchsia...

This year's MTV Video Music Awards brought out some sexy ladies in satin like Rihanna, Nelly Furtado, Rosario Dawson and Hayden Panettiere. All these gals decided to let the fabric of their frocks do the talking and boy was their chatter loud. Rihanna opted for long and pink; Nelly and Rosario kept it cool in black; and Hayden went fun in short and blue. Naturally, each exuded a very different look, but one thing kept them together: sexy satin!

Nelly & Her Christopher Kane LRD

Christopher Kane hit the fashion jackpot with his bright, bold and body-hugging mini dresses this season. Not only have they been a hit editorially, celebs dig them - perhaps because they resemble the vintage Herve Leger dresses we all know and love?

Nelly Furtado is on her Summer tour and she has rocked this particular Kane LRD every which where. From New York's Madison Square Garden to Berkeley's Greek Theater, Nelly has a definite love affair going on. I think she is absolutely adorable and it's quite a fun performance piece - but I think she should toss those black tights to the curb and flaunt her tanned gams. Just fashion for thought...

Thick Ass Bangs: Love It or Hate It?

I am so surprised no one has said anything about this dramatic hair trend - so allow me! As a goodbye to bella who is about to launch her own Grey's Anatomy spin-off, er, I mean Sugar site spin-off; I dedicate this Love It or Hate It? to you my darling. I actually had hedge bangs a couple of years ago, but mine were a bit more retro Penelope Tree-like, i.e. the corners curved down framing the face. Some of these ladies' bangs are similar to the Penelope bang, but these are all pretty severe. While this can hide a prominent forehead I don't find this the most attractive bang. Plus, don't some of these look fake? Maybe they are bang pieces, but we know Mena's is the real deal - she was the first one here who busted out this controversial bang. What do you all think...love it or hate it?

Nelly Furtado couldn't look happier, but what is this dress all about? Is she wearing peacock feathers? Too much fringe and much too much gold. We are seeing a trend of curly hair, but I must admit I like her better with sleek straight locks. What do you all think of Nelly's look?
