I'm all for avant-garde dressing — as long as it's flattering. This Marios Schwab Rodin Ruffle Dress ($2,565) will definitely make an artistic statement, but I'm not too sure about the crazy, red ruffles. In fact, it kinda reminds me of black-forest cake with red frosting.

My daily routine of perusing Net-A-Porter led me to something so simplistically new: the TTD, also known as the top tunic dress. However, I must give credit to Roland Mouret for this genius idea. The TTD is pretty much three pieces in one: a top when tucked into pants, a tunic paired with leggings, and a dress — rad.

This Balmain Crystal-Embellished Jacket ($11,410) is undeniably fly, but besides Beyonce and a couple other celebs, I don't know anyone willing to fork over the dough for such a trendy statement piece. I love the kitschy, band-jacket-inspired style, but paying that much is not even a faint possibility . .

It's the moment we've all been waiting for: theOutnet.com is up and running! That's right people, Net-A-Porter's frugal little sister is brimming with designer fashions from the likes of Marc Jacobs, Phillip Lim, Miu Miu, and Chloe marked up to 70 percent off — yowza. The site also features a helpful Dress Me section, which allows you to shop by occasion, and adding icing to the cake is an exciting Flash Sale section where you can sign up to purchase items that have been marked down for a limited time only.

I don't need to be a bride to know the importance of wedding attire, and neither does Net-a-Porter. The site has just launched a cool wedding boutique and it's filled with beautiful offerings for everyone in the bridal party. Each category — bridal, bridesmaid, mother of the bride, and guest — provides an in-depth selection of designer dresses and accessories.
