Hey everybody! If you remember, last week I sent you on a mission to help me replace my L'Occitane Dry Skin Hand Creme that expired. I really truly love this cream, but the last time I went to use it, the smell deterred me.

Last summer I wrote about a few fabulous hand creams that help maintain these over-used helpers. Now that it's winter, hands need special attention - I know every handbag of mine has a little sample-sized tube of something in it. But I was thinking of featuring hand creams under $10 since it is winter and some of use plow through these containers super quick (case in point: moi).

Unless you've been living under a rock, you've probably heard about the latest carry-on regulations from the Transportation Security Administration: All of the liquids in your carry-on luggage must be in bottles 3-ounces or smaller, and those must be sealed in a single quart-sized Ziploc bag. But even if you have a high-maintenance beauty regimen, it's possible to accommodate your liquids on board. The key is having a mix of liquids that go in the baggie and solids that don't.

I love the healthy glow of tanned skin, but considering the health implications, I'd rather get a fake tan than a real one. That's why I love this new Neutrogena Pale Is the New Tan T-Shirt. The word "pale" is spelled out in crystals that change color in the sun, making this cute pink tee a subtle way to spread awareness about skin cancer.

This Sunday marks the end of Daylight Saving Time, which means the days are going to get shorter. But just because the sun is going to be scarce doesn't mean you can't maintain a light, healthy-looking tan. (Please, just don't go overboard!) The advances in self-tanning products over the past few years have been so remarkable that there's really no excuse to lay out in the sun any more.

When it comes to impulse buys, I have a real weakness for lip gloss. In fact, I first was tempted to try this Neutrogena MoistureShine Lip Soother Cooling Hydragel because the cute little tube caught my eye in the cosmetics aisle at Walgreens. I was also curious about the so-called "lip soother" feature.

If you're in need of a morning pick-me-up—perhaps after a night of too much drinking or too little sleep—a tingly, cool face scrub can be a great way to wake yourself up and rejuvenate your skin at the same time. Here are my favorite cool and refreshing finds.
Neutrogena Deep Clean Invigorating Foaming Scrub, $6.99, available here.

Neutrogena® Advanced Solutions At Home MicroDermabrasion System is getting a lot of attention these days, and with good reason. Although there is really nothing quite like having a professional microdermabrasion treatment, this at-home kit is a close second to a spa. The results are amazing, and you never have to leave your house.

Labor Day Weekend marks the official end of summer. But since many of us are heading to the beach, it's not time to retire those summer beauty rituals just yet. If you're traveling to warmer climates, try taking along a bottle of refreshing face mist, which can keep your skin cool, moisturized, or protected from the sun, depending on the product.

Covering up a screaming red blemish is hard enough. But to make matters worse, the redness often remains long after your zit clears up. The best way to get rid of red skin?
