Designer Norma Kamali is doing something other designers ought to copy: she's allowing her customers to try before they buy. Here's how it works: order items you like from the website, try them on in the comfort of your own home, then return the pieces you don't like within 48 hours (you are only charged for shipping).
What's more, Kamali has also introduced Try Before You Buy Parties, where essentially someone hosts a Norma Kamali shopping event at her home.

Just when I thought someone magically popped the fashion bubble, we are back in bubble trouble. Designers and celebrities alike can't get enough of bubble hems. To be truthful, this is a look only a slim gal should attempt and heels lessen any negative bubbling of the body.

Leighton Meester's body is smokin', but by no means curvalicious. So why am I using her as a poster child for curves? Because in her BCBG dress, she proves that you don't need major curves to look womanly.

No longer reserved for boxers and their muscle-tanks, today's mesh is feminine, flirty and just a smidge of sporty. You can find it on dresses and tops as a result of the get sporty trend that is, in fact, carrying over into the Fall. Funny how one fabric can be so bi-polar - bring on the mesh!

Who says you can't wear white after Labor Day? This lusciously stark color is actually just right for frigid temperatures, since it's so evocative of snow and Winter solitude. To wear Winter white, just be sure to choose textures—like leather, wool, and bouclé—that are undoubtedly wintery, rather than something like eyelet or linen that looks better suited to springtime.

If one day you wake up in a minimal state of mind, black, white and gray is the right color combo for the moment. While you can easily triple a heather grey top with white jeans and black sandals to look sophisticated and clean, you can also create the sharp look with these. I know I should be encouraging bright fabulous colors, but let's face it: sometimes we all feel a bit black, white and gray.

If it's casual sophistication you're after, why not trade your jeans and t-shirt ensembles for a shirt dress? These button-front styles are like a longer but equally comfy version of your boyfriend's dress shirt. Worn with a wide belt over opaque tights or leggings, this is a great look for shopping, running errands, or even for the office, depending on the length.

Miniskirts are definitely in for Fall. I don't know about you, but I have not worn a miniskirt since I hung up my cheerleading uniform about 10 years ago. Fortunately the miniskirts that are in right now are really cute and will look great paired with this season's other hot trends including Mary Janes and Ankle Boots.
