Olsenboye Delivers Another Adorable Collection For Spring

The recent JC Penney NYC bash was one helluva party, but it was also a chance at a sneak peek of Olsenboye's fresh Spring crop. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are continuing to serve up youthful, vivacious, and inexpensive pieces, as shown below. Graffiti tees, bouncy skirts, denim jackets, and cool bags are on the horizon. What's more, Olsenboye is going to advertise for the first time during Sunday's Oscars! Fun stuff.

Mary-Kate and Ashley's new line, Olsenboye, dropped at JCPenney stores and jcp.com today. The prices are low to begin with, but a lot is even further on sale. Plaid shirts, casual tees, tie-dye bags, and ruffled shoes are just some pieces the twins dreamed up for their junior fans. You'll notice, the peace sign is a major motif. Shop away.

Steve Madden Makes Shoes and Bags For Olsenboye

Steve Madden collaborated on the Elizabeth and James footwear collection, so it's no surprise the brand has teamed up with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen's new venture, Olsenboye. The shoe company is set to produce a collection of footwear and accessories that include suede flats, canvas sneakers, slouchy plaid handbags, and small bucket bags. Starting this Friday, Nov. 6, you can get your Olsenboye on at jcp.com and in 50 JCPennney stores. Look out for a full launch for Spring.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen Launch Olsenboye For JCPenney

On to the next. The rumors are true: Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are launching a juniors line for JCPenney. Olsenboye makes total sense: the sisters began their retailer endeavors in the junior market - it's not to be forgotten.

The line will debut in 600 stores in February, but an innovative marketing campaign will kick off today for three days via an Olsenboye “treat truck” cruising around NYC selling clothes and giving out cupcakes, balloons and pins. The Olsen’s will be making a surprise appearance on one of the three days. As well, empty racks in 50 high-profile stores will be covered in Olsenboye samplings. Come Nov. 6, Olsenboye will be sold on jcp.com and in those 50 stores, including the Manhattan flagship, for a limited time. Updates and a teaser video can be viewed on Olsenboye.com.

The retail prices will range $20 to $50 for casual sportswear and accessories that includes denim, bottoms, tops, dresses, skirts, shorts, jackets, handbags and shoes. Super cool: it will dabble in travel-inspired mini collections, each reflecting the looks and trends of different cities.

What does Ashley say about the news: “Mary-Kate and I watch current trends and see our partnership with JCPenney as an opportunity to add something unique to the marketplace, especially in the current retail climate. Olsenboye is an extension of the Dualstar brand and we feel this collaboration complements and strengthens our business portfolio, delivering trend-based fashion at affordable prices.”

Mary-Kate and Ashley Model The Row at an Event For Olsenboye

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen stepped out in NYC this morning for an exclusive JCPenney event held at Pier 57. The designers dressed in shades of black and gray, with each sister carrying one of their own luxury handbags from The Row. They were on hand to support their lower-priced brand, Olsenboye, which is sold exclusively at JCPenney.

Today's event brought out a fashionable crowd, with Charlotte Ronson. Diane von Furstenburg, and Nicole Miller also on hand. JCPenney CEO Ron Johnson was the star of the gathering, though, taking the stage to share JCP's new pricing strategy. It seems fans of Mary-Kate and Ashley's Olsenboye can look forward to picking up items at lower prices in future seasons, but they're taking the opposite approach when it comes to The Row considering the astronomical cost of their $39,000 alligator backpack.

The designing duo are winding down a hectic few days that included supporting their Olsenboye collection at JCPenny's FNO bash and debuting their latest designs from The Row. Also in attendance at today's event was new mom Selma Blair, whom Ashley greeted with a big hug. While MKO and Ashley are busy with Fashion Week, their younger sister, Elizabeth, made her own style statement at the Toronto Film Festival. Elizabeth, the star of the independent film Martha Marcy May Marlene, wowed at her red-carpet premiere in a floral Erdem gown. However, for Elizabeth's October GQ spread, she wore just a lace bra and silk pajamas.

Ashley's look may have been veering towards Fall fashion but she and Mary-Kate are still busy promoting their StyleMint tees with a Summer contest. Fans can submit photos of themselves wearing pieces from the line for a chance to win a year of free shirts from the sisters. Mary-Kate and Ashley have been juggling the new project with their other collections, and they recently traveled to Dallas to preview their latest Textile by Elizabeth and James offerings at Neiman Marcus. The designing duo have also been using their talents for good, having partnered with TOMS on a charitable shoe collaboration and created a limited-edition Olsenboye coin purse to benefit Pennies from Heaven.
