I am currently mad at both Barneys and Opening Ceremony for canceling a pair of Miu Miu sequin pumps and an Alexander Wang leather jacket on me. I got an email confirmation, then hours letter a retraction. Is someone trying to tell me something?

Simply Fab: Nordstrom Debuts Buy Online, Pick Up in Store

How many times have you ordered something online and waited anxiously and nervously for its arrival? Will it arrive on time? Might it get lost? Ugh, and I hate shipping costs. Nordstrom is one genius retailer because it has debuted a Buy Online, Pick Up In Store program. It's pretty self explanatory; browse as usual, click on "choose a store" to type in your zip code or city, and get a list of the nearest stores you can pick the item up from. I know I will be using this feature, a lot. Now only if all my favorite online retailers followed suit!

Just in time for wedding season, De Beers has decided to peddle its diamonds online! The e-commerce store, which exclusively sells to the United States, allows De Beers to join its competitor Tiffany & Co. in cyberspace. Diamond jewelry is currently offered in ranges from $500 for a gold pendant to a $30,000 engagement ring, and prices will climb higher than $30,000 in the future. I will definitely be using this new web site to drool over all the engagement rings offered! I never seem to tire of doing that!

Are the Topshop gods listening or what? I was just complaining about the British retailer's high shipping costs when I got the good news: half price shipping on all orders from now until Christmas day. Standard shipping has gone from $15 to $7.50 - score! Maybe now I'll finally get the Bunny Ears Headband ($36) I've been wanting.
