Origins has just released their latest and greatest product called Modern Fusion, $36. This remarkable skin smoothing serum is derived from the ancient rituals performed by Asian women working in rice fields. What it does is stimulate your skin's natural shedding process to help transform your face from dull and lackluster to luminous and vibrant!

Since we are always writing about the next best thing that is premiering on the beauty market, we can't overlook that sometimes, some of the best colors and products are the oldies but goodies. In this installment of Back to Basics: The Best Powder Bronzers, we are going to take a trip down memory lane to share a few of my old time favorites. I can't wait to hear what you think!

I'm a big fan of Origins products, particularly the miraculous No Puffery Cooling Mask and the refreshing Modern Friction dermabrasion scrub. On my most recent trip to Origins to get my regular anti-puffiness fix, I scored a great new find: the Origins Checks and Balances Frothy Face Wash. (Hey, it was included in a gift set with No Puffery; how could I resist?) This stuff seemed fairly ordinary at first—that is, until I squeezed some into my hands and realized how little an amount you have to use.

If you're in need of a morning pick-me-up—perhaps after a night of too much drinking or too little sleep—a tingly, cool face scrub can be a great way to wake yourself up and rejuvenate your skin at the same time. Here are my favorite cool and refreshing finds.

Despite my well publicized lip gloss fetish, I usually like to start off the work day with a berry-tinted matte look. Here's a peek into my morning lip routine:
First and foremost, I swear by Benefit's fabulous Lip Plump product, available from Benefit for $20. A silky, creamy lip foundation, it does a wonderful job of smoothing out the surface of your lips and provides a great neutral base for whatever color you choose.

As we approach the holidays, I'm on the lookout for original party looks. Eva's wink may not be up to par, but the slick tuxedo-inspired look she wore to the 2010 Pirelli Calendar cocktail reception in London was beyond Fab. She dressed up her slight harem pants with delicate sandals, a draped white top, and a velvet blazer.
