Angelina evoked a quiet elegance with a long nude-toned Elie Saab halter gown complete with soft chiffon pleats and classic diamond stud earrings. Meanwhile, Olivia Wilde channeled a much vampier look with a floor-length formfitting black dress that featured lacy side cutouts. Leave it to the transformed actress to take the LBD to the next level of sizzling hotness. She looks insanely sleek wearing Balmain's black corset dress and furry black Christian Louboutin platform pumps.

The semisheer, asymmetrical lace inset adds sultriness to her dress and I love her natural makeup palette. Being it was a Cartier-sponsored event, Anne appropriately accessorized in an abundance of Cartier diamond-encrusted jewels. Her look is sexy, sophisticated, yet unique.

Michelle Williams chose a bold look by Jason Wu for lunch at Cecconi's in LA yesterday. The event was thrown by the Weinstein Company in honor of her film My Week With Marilyn, which is getting plenty of recognition this award season. Michelle already took home the Desert Palm Achievement Actress Award at last weekend's Palm Spring International Film Festival and she's also up for best actress at Sunday's Golden Globes. Michelle's date for the Globes is Busy Philipps, who also hit the red carpet next to Michelle at last night's InStyle and Forevermark party.

Angelina covered up her vintage dress with a Michael Kors coat while Brad went with a Tom Ford suit and his latest accessory, a cane. The night was all about Angelina after Brad took the spotlight at their last two events. Monday, the couple popped up in the Big Apple for the New York Film Critics Circle Awards, where Brad was recognized for best actor in both Moneyball and The Tree of Life. He accepted another award for those movies over the weekend at the Palm Springs International Film Festival. It's just the beginning of a long award season for the duo, though Angelina shared that they've been more focused on family activities, like Zahara's birthday, than their public appearances.

George Clooney had Stacy Keibler by his side for the National Board of Review Awards gala at Cipriani in NYC tonight. Stacy chose a dramatic black Marchesa gown, which complemented George's sexy tuxedo. George was there to accept his best actor honor for The Descendants and support The Ides of March, which landed on NBR's list of 2011's best movies. The award winning fun got started over the weekend at the Palm Springs International Film Festival, where George picked up the Chairman’s Award for his work in both big-screen hits.

In addition to George's recent red-carpet commitments, he made time to tape Inside the Actors Studio and stop by Good Morning America today in the Big Apple. His busy schedule continues with the Critics' Choice Awards on Thursday, when he'll find out if The Descendants takes home any of its seven possible wins, or if Ides grabs the statue for best acting ensemble.

Charlize Snaps Up Another Award and Thanks Her "Sexy" Young Adult Costar Patton

Charlize Theron was presented with her second award of the weekend yesterday at Variety's annual brunch during the Palm Springs International Film Festival. The Young Adult star looked lovely in a bold Reed Krakoff dress as she accepted her Indie Impact Award. Her leading man in the film, Patton Oswalt, was on hand to present her with the honor and gushed about the time he spent working with her. When Charlize tried to hide behind her napkin, he joked, "Don't hide that beautiful face. It's keeping the bees alive with its beautiful sunshine!"

The duo formed a close friendship on the set of their Diablo Cody-penned film. Charlize, Diablo, and Patton all joined director Jason Reitman on Saturday night to accept their shared accolade for best creative ensemble at the Palm Springs annual gala. Yesterday, Charlize took the podium alone to pick up her individual honor, and gave a thoughtful and funny speech from the podium. Here are some highlights:

On being humbled by her Indie Impact Award: "I know I've had an impact on donuts, wine, and vodka - and designer handbags - but I know that indie world has definitely had an impact on me, and so maybe I can talk a little bit about that. I think my career could have been very different, and I feel 100 percent sure that I have the career I have today because of independent film making . . . And I'm pointing at all of you who are here today who had the balls to believe in me. I'm speaking particularly of Patty Jenkins who wrote and directed Monster."
On being addicted to great producers: "When you work with a good producer it's, I guess, like that first hit of crystal meth. I don't know, I haven't done that one yet. But you chase it."
On taking chances: "I want to thank all of those filmmakers - even the bad ones - for giving me jobs and for letting me fall on my face. But mostly just letting me be brave to do things that I don't think naturally would have come my way. I'm not naïve to think that those things would have been handed to me, and so I'm very grateful that I've had those opportunities.
On her costar Patton Oswalt: "I've been naked with [Patton]. There's a sexy man under that suit."

Over the weekend, Michelle Williams glowed at the 2012 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala in an elaborately beaded dress. Her frock's beading recalled an earlier era that embraced handmade detailing. To turn your bedroom door into more than an entry point, switch out a plain doorknob with this Emtek Georgetown Crystal Knob ($110, middle, far right). With an oil-rubbed bronze plate and a clear glass knob, it will add antique finish to even the most ho-hum door.

I've found a number of knobs that you can add to a dresser or cabinet drawers. It's amazing how a few little knobs can make a major change to the look of a dresser. My favorite is the Cloisonne Chrysanthemum Pull ($10). Its enamel detailing reflects the flower it's named after and exudes an Arts and Crafts-era charm. I can imagine it on a turn-of-the-century oak dresser, or dressing up a white Ikea Hemnes dresser.

Stacy Keibler wore a black dress to match George Clooney's tux at this evening's Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala. He was on hand to be honored with the Chairman’s Award for The Ides of March and The Descendants. We caught up with George on the red carpet. George Clooney talked about Brad Pitt, the upcoming award season, and how the guys will face off at a few ceremonies as best actor nominees. He said about Brad, "I actually haven't seen him yet. I haven't seen him in probably about six or seven months, so I actually get a chance to see him tonight. So I'm looking forward to it!" It's a big night for Stacy too, since she has a project debuting; her appearance in TV movie Fixing Pete will air on The Hallmark Channel.
