If you're a fan of makeup deals along with your shoe shopping, then you'll be pleased to hear that Payless is expanding its cosmetic range to include a whole new brand, the interestingly disemvoweled Sxy. The line, which will launch early next year, will include body mist, shower gel, eye palettes, lipstick, and mascara. It's always nice to see more affordable makeup come on the market, but will you be excited to get your pumps and your palettes at the same shop?

The new range, which will also include lotions, shower gels, fragrances, and eye colors, will be sold under the brand names Zoe & Zac and Unforgettable Moments. Of course, we'll never know what it's like until we try the new goods, but if we're going on looks alone, it seems quite feminine. Earlier this year, most of you said you would not purchase makeup and beauty goods from the retailer, but does this sneak peek have you changing your mind?

The designer, who just unveiled her collection, described her shoes as "pure Toledo - playful, bold and strong," also noting the functionality component: "I’m a walker. I wanted to address that." The whimsical collection - with names such as the "Poodle Boot" and "Film Noir Bootie" - will include seven shoe styles and two handbags. We can't wait to get our hands on these cute Cuban heel tie-up sandals!

Over the past few years, Payless ShoeSource has upped the ante by recruiting designers like Alice + Olivia, Abaeté, Lela Rose, and Christian Siriano. Now, the discount shoe retailer is bringing something unexpected to the table: makeup and body products. WWD reports that Payless will introduce beauty products starting in September.

Sold under the names Unforgettable Moments and Zoe & Zac, the offerings will include fragrances, lotions, and nail, lip, and eye colors ($3–$20). Payless is an institution when it comes to bargain shoe shopping, but tell us: do you think you'd shop there for beauty goods, too?

Ever since Payless went upscale, I've kept a close eye on it. The Fall designer shoes are avail and they're totally affordable. Alice + Olivia, Abaeté, Lela Rose, and Christian Siriano deliver sass via jewels, tassels, lace, chains, and buckles - all for under $60. Now my only question is, where are those amazing Abaeté chain booties? I'll keep a lookout for them, but in the meantime, check out what's in store.

Rachel Bilson is spreading her fashion wings by writing for InStyle magazine. In the May issue, the celebrity designer has her own page (page 148) named, Ask Rachel. "I’m actually flattered more than anything that people want to ask me questions about style. I am honored to do it,” said Bilson.

In her editorial debut, Rachel answers readers style questions and dishes on her favorite Spring items, which include Lela Rose for Payless flats, Lanvin sandals, and Matta scarves. When asked if it's OK to pair a big shoulder bag with a cocktail dress, Rachel replied, "You can absolutely wear a large purse with a party dress. In fact, I prefer it. Of course, it shouldn't be the size of a carry-on, and anything with an overly large strap is too casual. But a funky purse can offset the fuss of fancy."
