Marni Peep-Toe Ankle Boots: Love It or Hate It?

I have mixed feelings about these Marni Peep-Toe Ankle Boots ($920). I love the cut and color, but I have an issue with the peep-toe. I wish the "peep" was a little bigger because no matter how skinny my toes may be, they'll never show through that tiny hole. Are you feeling these?

The World Oceans Day celebration brought out a gaggle of well-dressed women to the Hudson Terrace in NYC. Supermodel and now-designer Amber Valletta attended the fête wearing a strapless silver Oscar de la Renta Resort 2010 dress that has an interesting origami detail on the skirt. In an attempt to toughen the look up, she paired it with black peep-toe booties with pearl detail. Her black-satin clutch and rhinestone necklace spice her up some more. The Look for Less: Chloe Leather Shoe Boots

When you're a celebrity, doing something as simple as picking up your dry cleaning is an opportunity to look your best. Take Mandy Moore for example; the starlet was in LA running errands in a pair of fabulously funky Chloe Leather Shoe Boots ($387, originally $645). They're worth every penny - I splurged and bought myself a pair - but it's my duty to let you know about this find.

These Forever 21 Patent Peep Toes ($28) have the same design but without the super soft leather and freakishly expensive price tag. I actually saw these shoes in person, they also come in a white and pink color combo, and was not impressed by the level of craftsmanship. But if price reigns over quality, it couldn't hurt to check them out for yourself.

I have a staring problem when it comes to Givenchy footwear. I swear, I can't stop gawking at each and every pair. There's something so vulgar about them. These Givenchy Black Cutout Platforms ($979) are one of my favorite pairs. Cutouts are nothing new, but the stitching around them makes them extra hot. Still, I'm going to have to resort to staring from afar because they're just too pricey.

Sienna Miller isn't usually flashy, so seeing her in this bold Gucci leopard sequin suit at the G.I. Joe premiere in Japan is a change. But the question is, is it a good change? Anja Rubik wore it on the catwalk in the same way - blue lurex shirt, shiny suit, peep-toe booties - only with sunglasses. Nine West is on the top of my list when it comes to funky, comfy, footwear at a reasonable price. For Fall, the brand stepped it up - pun intended - supplying us with cutout booties, platform sandals, and leather boots dyed in rich jewel tones and classic Autumn hues. Heels are high, but not ridiculously so, textures cozy and buttery soft. I can't stop staring at this purple suede peep-toe pump; don't you love the butterfly cut embellishment?
