This vibrant hot pink color is hot off the presses! Raspberry Syrup Pop Gloss 436 by Givenchy, $22.50 is a graffiti inspired color for Spring. It is an exceptionally bright shade in the tube, but it goes on sheer and light. This new color will join the Pop Gloss collection that is set for release in select Saks.com and Sephora.com stores over the next two weeks.

Guerlain KissKiss Laque in Fabulous Rose, $26, is considered a lipstick because of its thorough coverage, yet it has the shine of a gloss and is packaged just like a gloss. It smells delicious (infused with vanilla, red fruits and violet) and it looks uber sophisticated both in the tube and on your lips. This color is vivid, long lasting and provides incredible shine. Oh...and I love the fabulous name!

Trish McEvoy Highlights Lipgloss in Rose, $22, is an old time favorite of mine. It's not too sticky and can be worn alone or over a lipstick for more opaque color. This gloss leaves your lips feeling smooth and looking shiny.

Continuing my fashion tributes to the late John Hughes's cinema style - Sixteen Candles fans enter here - Pretty in Pink was a modern fairytale. This time, Molly plays Andie, a fashion designing gal from the wrong side of the tracks. She has a secret crush on richie Blane, played by puppy dog faced Andrew McCarthy. The class system creates a wall for love, while Andie's weirdly fabulous friends provide comic and fashion relief. One of my favorite scenes is Duckie's "Try a Little Tenderness" lip sync - classic. And you have to love Steff, James Spader's super douche character, who had mad rich '80s boy style. Source

Who Wore It Better? Matthew Williamson For H&M Peacock Print Dress

There were mixed results, but the majority of you loved Katy Perry in this Matthew Williamson for H&M dress. Does the dress suit heiress Nicky Hilton, too? She wore it hosting a party at Prive Las Vegas. She opted for an oversized clutch, keeping with the feather theme, while Katy wore a cheeky pink metallic lip clutch. As well, Nicky went bare legs and matchy shoes, while Katy wore tights and metallic shoes. Who wore this peacock frock best?

Katy Perry in Matthew Williamson For H&M: Love It or Hate It?

While I anxiously wait for the arrival of Matthew Williamson for H&M, celebrities have been teasing me by wearing the line. First, Ginnifer Goodwin snagged the artsy dress, and now Katy Perry is wearing the peacock-print one. Katy jazzed up her look with metallic peep-toe pumps, black tights, and an adorable pink metallic lips bag. I love her love for kitschy bags. What do you think about her entire look - love it or hate it?

This Week's Fab Favorite: Dasha Zhukova

The fashion world has yet to tire of the cool black leather jacket. See Kova & T founder and new Pop magazine editor Dasha Zhukova, next to Mr. Louboutin himself. At the Fetish by Christian Louboutin and David Lynch Exhibition in the Fabcon's home country of Russia, the sexy brunette worked a buttery leather jacket and a confectionery Rodarte frock. She gained extra style mileage with a graphic black and white clutch and silver Louboutin stilettos. No-fuss hair and pouty pink lips were perfect beauty accompaniments. The lilac and white wrapped and cut-out Rodarte dress is stunning in itself, but this stylemaster made it her own.

Fab Ad: Missoni Spring '09

Natasha Poly and Isabeli Fontana's serious faces in Missoni's Spring '09 campaign immediately caught my attention. Shot by Steven Meisel, the models look mannequin-like while wearing an array of Missoni's colorful clothes and accessories. The contrast between Natasha's punchy, pink short set and Isabeli's slate blue ensemble complement one another to perfection. I also fancy their matte makeup palette and ruby red lips. The beach scene is nothing new in Spring campaigns but it works. After all, what girl wouldn't like to picture herself relaxing on the sand in Missoni?

What is it about Lip Gloss?

I don't know about you, but I have about a million tubes of lip gloss. At least one in every handbag I own, four or five in my makeup bag, one at my desk, two in the car, you get the idea. They are all pretty much the same color and I never seem to actually empty any of them, so why do I feel the need to buy a new one every week? In fact, this week I actually bought not one, but TWO!

Her Glossiness Lip Gloss in "Who are you Wearing" from Benefit. First of all I love the color. In the tube it looks Hot Pink, but on your lips it's a more subtle cherry-pink color. The best part about it though is that it smells awesome, kind of like you want to eat it. According to Benefit Cosmetics:

These impossibly shiny glosses glide on smooth for A-list lips that will give everyone something to gossip about. The luxurious formula with jojoba oil makes your lips feel five-star pampered... as if they would expect anything less!

Neutrogena MoistureShine Lip Soother in "Gleam." I admit that I was first attracted to the cute little tube that it comes in as I was browsing the cosmetics aisle at Walgreens. Also it has SPF 20 in it, which is good. I was also curious about the "Lip Soother" feature. I have to say I am quite pleased with this purchase as well. The color is nice, very subtle and it does give you a cooling sensation when applied. Almost like lip balm, but not as intense.

Test Drive: Lorac Lotsa Lip Plumping Lipstick

This weekend, I told you about my unfortunate experience with Freeze 24/7's lip-plumping lip gloss, which made my lips burn, puff up, and turn red. Thankfully, I've just found another lip-plumping product that involves a much more pleasant experience.

Unlike most lip plumpers, which use peppery ingredients to make your lips swell up immediately, Lorac Lotsa Lip Plumping Lipstick goes for a more gradual effect by stimulating collagen production and keeping your lips moist and rich. According to Lorac, users experienced up to a 40 percent increase in lip volume and a 30 percent reduction in fine lines after about a month of treatment. I've been using this stuff for a few weeks now, and while I can't say my lips look noticeably plumper, they are definitely smoother and almost look as if they've been fluffed like a pillow. Plus, the lusciously creamy lipstick doesn't dry out my lips, so it's giving me a new appreciation for lipstick lately. I particularly like the newest shade, a pearlescent pink called Feelin, but you can buy it in eight shades here for $18.50.

MTV Video Music Awards: Solange Knowles

Solange Knowles takes a break from her furry friend and wears an iridescent pink ruffled frock to the VMAs. Jewelry is kept to a minimum, with the singer donning a large silver bangle and sparkly earrings. A large patent Fendi clutch and green strappy platforms add an edgy touch to her look. Note how her dark pink lips complement her dress. What do you think?
