New High End Headphones From Monster Announced at CES

Known for being advocates of great sound quality, Monster announced their newest headphones at CES, including a new set of Beats By Dr. Dre PRODUCT (RED) headphones endorsed by my favorite celeb in attendance at CES, Lady Gaga, and a partnership with designer Vivienne Tam, who is no stranger to the tech scene - I'm still in love with her latest HP netbook.

New products to expect this year include unbreakable Jamz ($119) and Lil' Jamz headphones ($99), designed to produce high quality sound at an affordable price point. On the other end of the cost spectrum, a super high end Turbine Pro Copper set, retailing for $400 (I told you, super high end!). And for the dedicated jazz listener, a pair of Miles Davis Tribute headphones, designed to optimize the sound of jazz music. At $500, the tribute headphones are sold with two CDs, a vinyl LP, a DVD, hardcover book, and black and white poster of the jazz legend. And of course, the Lady Gaga-endorsed PRODUCT(RED) headphones, retailing for $230, expected to hit stores in February (red Lady Gaga headphones for Valentine's Day? Are you listening? Yes please!). Fab Flash: Gisele Bundchen and Elle Team Up For (PRODUCT) RED

In an effort to fight the battle against HIV and AIDS in Africa, Gisele has teamed up with Elle magazine and (PRODUCT) RED apparel. The Super is set to appear in over 30 international Elle editions wearing an array of (PRODUCT) RED endorsed clothing from the likes of Gap, Armani, Converse, and Apple. 50 percent of all profits go towards the cause.

The do-gooder has also joined in on Bono's AIDS-fighting initiative along with Scarlett Johannson's effort in spreading awareness about the epidemic. "If that [fighting HIV and AIDS] can be achieved by buying a couple of pairs of Converse, it's worth a shot," said Johansson.

Starbucks Embarks on Product (RED) Campaign

Despite its staggering fourth-quarter drop in sales, number one coffee retailer Starbucks has announced a multiyear partnership with charity campaign Product (RED).

From Nov. 27 to Jan. 3 in the US and Canada, Starbucks will donate five cents from the sale of any Starbucks (RED) beverage to the Global Fund to help save lives in Africa.

The exclusive Starbucks (RED) beverages include the Espresso Truffle, Peppermint Mocha Twist, and Gingersnap Latte. And on Dec. 1, the 20th anniversary of World AIDS Day, Starbucks will be donating five cents for every Starbucks beverage that's made to order.

The chain is going through great effort to get the word out about the new campaign. Instead of their signature green getups, baristas will sport red aprons to highlight the partnership. This Friday, Nov. 28, Starbucks and celebrity chef Mario Batali will take over Times Square, passing out free (RED) coffee beverages. Other celebrities supporting the cause, like Mary-Louise Parker, Helena Christensen, and Annabella Sciorra, will also be on hand at the event.

Fab Flash: Gap Releases Mulberry Bag for Valentine's Day

Just in time for Valentine's Day, Gap will launch a limited edition handbag for its (Product) RED campaign. The bag was originally created in December for Gap's European collection with help from fashion guru Katie Grand. Katie, fashion editor of Pop Magazine, has recreated the Mulberry Roxanne bag in a sweatshirt jersey material that will be available in both red and grey. The bag goes on sale tomorrow, but unfortunately it's only available at one location in the US at 5th Avenue and 54th Street in NY. But Fab's already spotted it on eBay.

Gap Launches (Product) Red

I've been telling you about a lot of pink products that raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. But you may notice that today, FabSugar is wearing red-specifically, Gap (Product) Red. This special line of clothing is part of the larger (Product) Red initiative, a charitable organization started by Bobby Shriver and Bono, who'll appear on Oprah today, to raise awareness about AIDS in Africa. As one of the project's main partners, Gap will donate half of all of the proceeds from this line to the Global Fund, which supports AIDS research and the distribution of antiviral drugs in Africa. 1. Make It Comfy

When we say “comfy,” we mean “ergonomic.” It’s an unfriendly word for a friendly concept: basically it means “intended to provide optimum comfort and to avoid stress or injury.” Friendly, right? Besides, an awkward workspace can lead to major health issues, including disorders in your joints or tendons, so a little tweaking of your cubicle can go a long way for your well-being. Line up your body correctly by following these two principles:

Your feet should be flat on the floor and your elbows should be even with your desk. This can be achieved either through adjustable chairs or - if chairs are a hot commodity at your office - a combination of step stools and pillows.

Flawless Valentine's Day Makeup Looks in 5, 20, or 45 Minutes

Valentine's Day is the perfect time to experiment with bolder, brighter makeup looks. But the problem is not always a matter of what kinds of palettes and color combinations to try: it's a matter of how much time there is to actually get it all on. According to celebrity makeup artist Emily Kate Warren (who has worked with stars such as Jennifer Jason Leigh and Abigail Breslin), a quick, flattering makeup look shouldn't take longer than five minutes. So whether you have hot date-night plans or you're heading out on the town with your friends this Valentine's Day, start those stopwatches. Here are Warren's suggestions for getting an easy-peasy five-minute look, along with tips on creating 20- and 45-minute palettes.

To get a speedy, five-minute look . . .
Warren recommends applying a black mascara, a red lip stain (or a matte lipstick tapped on with the fingertips), and a bright, pink-toned blush.

And if you have 20 minutes . . .
Warren suggests applying full foundation, all of the products listed above in the five-minute palette, and highlighter on the cheekbones. You can also try adding a haze of bronze around the lash lines for a warm and glowy finishing touch.

And if you have 45 minutes . . .
Apply all of the above, plus half-lash strips, along with a black liner on top to conceal the lash bands. And for that extra pop of color? "A full-on red lip could work, as well."

What We're Sweet On: Great Lip Stuff, Weird Names

Nobody would ever really be keen on the idea of putting blood or tears on our lips, so Rain Cosmetics is really lucky that its new lip stain, Blood ($12), and gloss, Tears ($12), are so superlatively great. Blood is a deep pink gel-based stain that's like a thicker, less-red Benetint. The lasting power is excellent when applied on the lips, but it works well on cheeks, too - even though it's not strictly for use as rouge. And thanks to the gel texture, the product spreads on wonderfully, allowing you plenty of time to blend away splotches.

Tears, the less eccentrically named of the two, is perfect if you're tired of supershiny, goopy gloss that makes you look like you just freshened up your makeup before eighth grade science class. Tears isn't sticky, the shine is so subtle that it almost looks more like balm, and it goes over stain or lipstick beautifully. So don't judge a gloss by its slightly creepy packaging; this stuff is much better than your average bodily fluid.
