Leave it to Solange Knowles to give us a bright, bold yellow look on the Met Gala red carpet. Solange stepped out on the arm of designer Rachel Roy in a custom-made creation that seriously fit her to a T. She looked completely stunning in the architectural number, giving us a dose of one of Spring's hottest trends, the peplum. Not only does the dress look amazing on her, but her accessories also made our mouths water; Solange dressed up her gown with a cool tribal cuff bracelet and stacked gold rings and carried a glittery gold clutch. Rachel Roy has been keeping busy with her supercute and affordable Rachel Rachel Roy diffusion line and her gorgeous signature collection, and now, the designer has added another notch on her designer belt: shoes. The Rachel Roy shoe collection is a luxe transition from the designer's RRR footwear line: think pumps and booties - inspired by her mentor Manolo Blahnik - made in suede, calf, snake, pony hair, and glitter. Of course, such shoe decadence comes at a price; the collection is set to range within the $200 to $600 mark. “Here’s the thing about me and shoes,” said Roy. “I really feel like it’s the one item that, no matter how much you make, it is worth saving your pennies for.” We agree.
