Grandpops is probably one of the hardest people to shop for. Men in general are harder to shop for than woman, in my opinion. But what to get for the distinguished and wise grandfather? He doesn't want frills; he wants some good 'ol cozy classics. Chances are he's worn out his slippers and old robe - and wouldn't go on a shopping trip to replace them - so do the shopping for him. Fall is upon us! Before we know it, Winter will be here too, all blustery and cold. Since I'm trying to think ahead, and admittedly have a mad scarf addiction, I was looking for the perfect scarf to add to my collection.

That's when I came across this RedEnvelope Merino Wool Hat-Scarf, $75, which is like two warm Winter accessories in one. The hat and scarf button together to keep your head and neck warm, but you can unbutton the two pieces and wear them separately too.

I love this idea, and the way the hat-scarf wraps around reminds me of all the old Hollywood stars and the headscarves they used to wear. Everyone needs a little old Hollywood glamour in their life...

Whenever I travel, I never know how to keep my jewelry in order. I've tried a number of things, but my necklaces always somehow seem to end up tangled and jumbled up in a big ball of chains and charms.

Breast Cancer Awareness Bling

Breast Cancer Awareness month is almost over, which means there are only a few days left to treat yourself to some adorable pink bling for the cause. For the screening of 500 Days of Summer in NYC, the Gossip Girl donned an oversize houndstooth shift dress and slick snakeskin peep-toe booties. The red carpets were alive with the fabulousness of Charlize Theron this week. Sticking with a black and white palette, the actress proved you don't need to wear color to make a statement. It also helps to wear some of the strongest designers of France. At her many Hancock premieres, Charlize shined and presented us with some unique silhouettes and pushed the fashion envelope; for that I commend her. But which of her strong looks swayed you? You know my pick, but I want to know yours.

Trend Alert: 3D Buds

Some trends never die. I pooh poohed rosettes over a year ago, however, I'm starting to think it was just Angela from Project Runway's fault that I tired of them early (those darn rosettes junkies ruin it for everyone). Or maybe it's just that Spring's floral trend has completely enveloped me and I love anything bloom related. If you're feeling the bloom love as much as I you may want to try 3D buds. Anne Hathaway dazzled in Marchesa ones at the Oscars as did Renee Zellweger, staring us down in them. OK, so it works on the red carpet, but does the 3D effect work for the everyday? The saga continues.
