In search of a deal, I headed straight to Tobi's magnificent sale section. Right now, a ton of goodies are marked up to 80 percent off. I'm thinking about snatching up this Reyes Dot Linen Print Blouse ($72, originally $363). What a steal.

Celebrity Style: Jennifer Aniston

It's been a while since we Celebrity Styled Jennifer and she looks great! Her carefree, polished look was exhibited while shopping at Barneys. Sometimes you have to boil it down to basics. What really polishes off her tank and skirt combo is the gold accessories: a gold studded Givenchy handbag, a gold watch, and gold hoops. And how could Jennifer leave home without her namesake Tom Ford shades? Happy shopping, Jen!

A Few Fab Words With Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation Winner José Ramón Réyes of Réyes

The crisp and youthful designs of José Ramón Réyes of Réyes may be familiar to some of you. We have featured them on Fab a few times. Edging his way as a designer of tomorrow, this Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation winner will be showing for the third time in New York's upcoming Fashion Week. While I hope to bring you his newest creations he is putting the finishing touches on very soon, he has shared some insights with us as well as a sketch from his upcoming Fall collection. Cool, huh? A few Fab words . . .

What's been the biggest challenge for you?

Every season there's a new challenge......I feel that the more the business grows the more challenging it gets. At the same time I also grow as an individual and therefore learn to deal with the stress and the challenges in a different manner.

Who do you design clothes for? Describe the Réyes girl?

She’s a girl who loves clothes and enjoy getting dressed up but never in a pretentious way!

A word of advice to other young aspiring designers?

Stick to your vision and what you believe in. Moving forward and learning from your mistakes and very important. Pick yourself up as soon as you fall.

Goals for the next year?

My personal goal is to continue with my French lessons - I want to be fluent by years end and on the business side of things we just moved into a new office space and are bringing sales in house. We are expanding our distribution in both in Europe and Asia and signing with a distributor in Japan.

What’s the best part of being an Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation winner?

Most importantly is the association with Ecco Domani and what the award represents. I’m honored to be part of such a wonderful group of past and present winners. There’s a certain prestige associated with winning this award that has help launched the careers of so many incredible designers. Also the monetary aspect helps a lot too!

Fab Flash: 2008 Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation Winners Announced

Six women's designers have been named Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation winners, joining an illustrious group of past honorees which includes Zac Posen, Proenza Schouler, and Derek Lam. The new recipients, who are each given a $25,000 grant to help showcase their Fall 2008 collections at New York Fashion Week in February, are Alexander Wang, Elise Overland, Lyell by Emma Fletcher, Reyes by José Ramón Reyes, and Wayne by Wayne D. Lee in the women's design category, as well as Subversive Jewelry by Justin Giunta in the accessories design category. Congratulations to all, and I look forward to seeing what the grant helps produce!

If you're in a social circle like mine, you're probably not invited to a ton of black-tie gatherings. But that doesn't mean you can't wear some black tie-inspired garb on the holiday party circuit. 2010 Spring New York Fashion Week: Brian Reyes

Brian Reyes is a quiet force and I think we just witnessed his best collection yet. Stay tuned for an exclusive interview with stylist to Rachel Bilson and Kristen Bell, Nicole Chavez, who I chatted with preshow, but for now, feast. The Spring wears flowed like a Muse song - some soft and feminine, some powerful and dead chic.The show opened with a white Japanese cotton bodysuit, followed by a delicate harness dress, placket shirt, and car coat in the breezy fabric. These were accompanied by frilly denim and a bold sepia print bodysuit. Brian is known for his unique prints; the skeletal print was a dark surprise. Other eye catchers include the black embroidery - I'm sure Carine Roitfeld, front row, coral nail polish - appreciated this, an adorable aqua shagreen print silk dress (pictured), and the bleeding-heart print. Front row and center was Reyes's number-one celebrity fan, Rachel Bilson, and Becki Newton - double cuteness.

Brian Reyes's Properly Designed Rubbers

You can even have style in the bedroom. With the (overwhelming) amount of New York Fashion Week sponsors and collaborations I witnessed last week, one was truly cool: Brian Reyes designed Proper Attire condoms. In the past, Yigal Azrouel designed them, too - these are still available for purchase. And look! Alexander Wang tried his hand at rubber design. I'm still lusting after Brian's Spring collection, but his Proper Attire condoms took a print from his '10 Resort collection. Still, clearly an original Reyes musing. The condoms are $6 for a three-pack (Fab tested, Fab approved).

Brian Reyes Talks Marble, Hints Handbags, and Designs During Hard Times

Brian Reyes's clothes are undeniably pretty, but, as I discovered backstage at his Fall show, it's all in the details. I was able to closely examine the clothes, some smart separates, some intricately beaded dresses. But a wavy seam, slight cut-out, or asymmetrical contour provided more than meets the eye. This was a backstage that was pretty under control; the designer stopped to talk to me for a few minutes while hair and makeup was wrapping up. He was "giddy" minutes before showtime. Aside from the unraveling of the models and their stiletto Manolo Blahniks, the show proved a success. For the finale, the shoes were thrown into a heap on the ground and models enthusiastically walked on. Reyes's most famous fan, Rachel Bilson, seemed to think so too. What inspired you this season?

"We wanted her to be sharp, tailored, glamorous, and sexy - very important. She’s a young girl, and we dress a lot of young girls, but we love that she’s growing with us so we want her to be a young lady. A young, elegant lady. But still with androgyny, still with the elements we love. The raw element, but maybe raw in the sharp cut of the line."

Tell me about your lingerie line?

"We incorporate it into our ready-to-wear. We have custom prints that really work well with this collection and we are injecting basic lingerie pieces in those prints. We have this tailored girl and she still needs to be feminine; it’s important to keep that alive in the collection."

This is an interesting printed dress.

"Everything we have in this collection is custom to this girl, the shoes, the makeup, the hair. All the prints were custom developed and inspired by marble quarries. And marble also from around the world. It can be an interpretation of whoever's wearing it, it could be something that represents electricity, or represents an oxidized statue that’s beautiful. It’s really up to the wearer's interpretation."

Who do you see wearing your clothes?

"She’s worldly and every age. We dress young women in their twenties and thirties, and fifties and sixties; I love that we get to dress every woman. I think that’s so unique and special about our collection."

What other news can we expect from you this year?

"We collaborated with Roxanne Assoulin from Lee Angel, we’re selling the jewelry from this collection. The lingerie is very important. The bags are ours, we’re not launching a bag collection but we wanted something that was very special, it could be something to explore in the future."

How are you doing things differently given the current economic climate?

"We’re just being more cautious and intelligent. I think it forces you to be competitive and be competitive with yourself. It forces you to be more creative and that is exciting."

Fab Exclusive! Rachel Bilson Can't Wait to Wear All of Reyes Fall

Hot off her engagement news, Bilson joined New York Fashion Week. Today she attended one of her favorites, Brian Reyes, in a warm-hued printed Reyes dress. I interviewed Brian, too, so stay tuned for that and to hear the scoop on why the models ditched the killer heels for the finale walk. I nabbed Bilson for a few moments after the show, and she was sweet as pie. I wonder if Reyes will design her wedding gown! Fab and Bilson talk . . .

What did you think of the show?

"It was phenomenal. I’m so excited, I can’t wait to wear all of it."

What in particular stood out to you?

"The dress with the marble-type print. All the prints were amazing, but the one that was cream and brown, the detail, do you know which one I’m talking about?"

Yes, I was backstage so I got to see them up close and personal.

"Well there you go, you know them well."

What’s your favorite and and least favorite thing about Fashion Week?

"You go blind with all the flashes, but it’s the price you have to pay to see beautiful clothes. I just love seeing everything firsthand, there’s nothing better."
