“I always resented the idea of radical silhouettes or exaggeration being confined to the runway,” said Owens, when describing his Spring collection. “That kind of extremity should be accessible all day long.” That said, wearability was key for Owens, as seen through the simple cotton and leather fabrics he juxtaposed into a '60s couture-inspired line. Long, lean pillar skirts were the focal point, paired with a range of structured and voluminous tops. Most notably were the array of modern patchwork jackets and exaggerated bell-sleeved renditions. Meanwhile, flowy draped skirts and intricately ruched gowns provided a softer touch to the collection. The color palette stayed true to his aesthetic, featuring predominately black, white, and gray hues, but there was also experimentation with a warm clay hue. “There’s no irony," said Owens. "It’s not particularly witty. There’s no menace. This time, it’s really pure, simple grace.” More details from the collection below.

I'm sure you all have plenty of t-shirts in your stash, but do you have a one-shouldered tee in the mix? This Rick Owens Lilies Asymmetric Tee ($160, originally $228) has badass written all over it. The simple subtraction of one sleeve takes the look from regular to off-kilter. Genius, but even at 30 percent off, it's pricey. Sorry, Rick, we have to move on . . .

Oak has come out with a very similar style, this Black Half Tank With Asymmetric Hem ($82). Granted, it's not totally cheap, but I can handle paying that much for a piece that will make me look unique. And it's versatile too - throw it on over a pair of cargos while running errands, then wear it with a killer mini skirt during nighttime. If it's still too pricey for you, consider cutting the one sleeve off a black tee you already own.

Celeb Style: Jessica Stroup

Of all the hotties at the Mulberry party in LA last night, Jessica Stroup looked like she had the most fun. The 90210 star was all smiles wearing a tenacious textural 'fit composed of an embellished black skirt, v-neck halter top, and lace cardi. Black pumps, a matching clutch, and a chunky silver ring are her accompaniments of choice. It's all black - and far from basic.

Trust Miley Cyrus to work glam with an edge. Her outfit's not overworked, but it's definitely got something more luxe in the way of leg wear, thanks to her Saloni black chiffon ruched pants. She paired the draped, dressier bottoms with funky Proenza Schouler tie-dye and open-toe lace-up Louboutins. It's a bolder pant - the draping adds visual interest and volume - but they come off pretty effortlessly. Style with a tee or tank and a pair of killer heels, and do as Miley did.

No doubt it would turn Freddy Krueger on. Dresses and skirts are finding themselves purposely slashed. An easy DIY project, but leave it to the pros to outfit the stars - Halle's champagne slashed Gucci dress is beyond sexy. Me? I've already taken some scissors to an old tee. I admit, I went a little aggro on one, but I can at least sleep in my slashed victim. Lesson here is: slash with caution. Whether store-bought or self-fashioned, this is one killer trend.

Great Expectations at Paris Fashion Week

The most exciting week of fashion is upon us. Don't get me wrong - New York Fashion Week always inspires, but Paris just seems . . . magical. WWD offered a behind-the-scenes look at some of the fashion houses last-minute musings. I can already tell Isabel Marant will make us swoon all over again with hot-pink tunics and fringed and studded boots. Everyone's talking about Peter Copping's first collection for Nina Ricci (showing tonight). And the brilliant Viktor & Rolf are gonna go all Texas Chainsaw Massacre on a too-perfect gown. Can't wait? Neither can I!
