Style Glossary: Ripstop

Ripstop Woven fabrics, often made out of nylon, that use a special reinforcing technique that make them very resistant against tearing and ripping. During weaving, reinforcement threads are interwoven at regular intervals in a crosshatch pattern in the fabric.
