It's official: live streaming runway shows are the hottest thing to do this season. Hot off the heels of Burberry Prorsum, Alexander McQueen - debuting today - and Twenty8Twelve's video foray is Roland Mouret. In conjunction with Fashionair.com, the designer will be streaming his Spring '10 runway show in Paris tomorrow, Oct. 7. "This is about taking the show and using it for what it should be - an amazing and immediate way for the consumer to see the collection," said Mouret.

In addition to viewing his show from a virtual front row seat, strategically placed cameras will allow us to experience the backstage action along with intimate interviews with Roland himself. While we eagerly await the action tomorrow, check out the site now to see what Roland had to say about his past Spring collection and why he dedicated it to his late father. Aw.

Trend Alert: The TTD

My daily routine of perusing Net-A-Porter led me to something so simplistically new: the TTD, also known as the top tunic dress. However, I must give credit to Roland Mouret for this genius idea. The TTD is pretty much three pieces in one: a top when tucked into pants, a tunic paired with leggings, and a dress - rad. When shopping for TTDs, make sure to look for sleek shapes and solid colors for maximum versatility and always accessorize with tough elements. Three in one? It doesn't get better than that, folks.

Compare & Contrast: Heidi Klum, Oscar's Lady in Red

Last night, as I was covering the 2009 Oscars red carpet, I got déjà vu. Out walked Heidi Klum in her red Roland Mouret number - and blam - flashback to her Oscars look last year. Of course, the silhouette of the dress was entirely different, but it exuded the same futuristic aura and was the same fiery red color. And, her jewels were pink again! Let's dissect Heidi's 2008 and 2009 Oscars looks shall we?

Dress: John Galliano made sure Heidi stood out on the '08 Oscars red carpet in this red, larger-than-life Dior gown. There is nothing shy about it - it's as red as red gets, has a huge collar, long side trains, and futuristic vibe. Oh, and Heidi chose red to benefit women's heart health.

Jewelry: It's apparent the Super loves the combination of red and pink. In 2008, her pink jewels from her own line complemented her red gown to a tee. She donned dramatic red and pink drop earrings, matching bracelets, and a red and pink ring.

Dress: Heidi went down the same red path this year by wearing a red dress in honor of her Diet Coke Heart Healthy campaign. Roland Mouret created this frock, which is not as voluminous, but just as in-your-face and futuristic. It also has a heavy sheen. Once again, the collar is the focus, but the skirt is equally attention-grabbing.

Jewelry: Red and pink it is again. Heidi chose to further sass up her red dress with light pink accessories. Like last year, the earrings were the focus, but stacked bangles and rings were also lavishly loud.

In honor of the Diet Coke Heart Healthy campaign, Heidi Klum wore a vivacious red dress by Roland Mouret and matching peep-toe pumps. The perfectly placed slices and asymmetrical neckline add a nice modern touch to her look. For jewels, the Super donned an amazing pair of silver and coral floral earrings with stacked bangles. Victoria Beckham and her handsome hubby attended a Vogue party in Milan. Posh took this as yet another opportunity to promote one of the dresses from her Victoria Beckham Collection. She chose this bright red number that has a sharp cut and silhouette. It fits her like a glove, no? And accentuates her generous cleavage. As if the dress wasn't red enough, she also wore red pumps. Fab Flash: Victoria Beckham and Roland Mouret in Cahoots

It's safe to say Victoria Beckham's dress collection is a hit. In fact, her collection has already sold out in London. But, did you know that designer Roland Mouret had a hand in her sensational success? According to sources, a spokesperson for Beckham disclosed that Mouret assisted her through the whole experience - just how much is to be debated.

"Roland set Victoria up with his pattern cutter and also introduced her to his fabric suppliers," said a Beckham spokesperson. "There is no secret Roland has helped Victoria set up various aspects of her atelier in London."

An insider states: "It's been a bit of a joke as to how much Roland has been involved. The similarities between the dresses are undeniable." Meanwhile, Beckham's representatives insist that Mouret "had absolutely nothing to do with the creative process." There is a slight resemblance between Beckham's designs and Mouret's, but enough to differentiate the two. What do you think?

This isn't the first time Victoria Beckham battles it out with another star in her Roland Mouret primrose yellow dress. First she went head to head with Lucy Liu (and lost) and now she has to compete with Sandra Oh. While Posh wore her dress with oversized sunnies and black pointy pumps, Sandra opted for a cuff bracelet, strappy shoes, and a gray clutch. Plus, Sandra's is slightly longer. They both have the same one-hand-on-hip stance going on but whose yellow Roland Mouret confection takes the cake?

Heidi's interpretation is sharp as a knife thanks to her black satin Louboutins. The model decided to keep her jewelry to a minimum, so as to let the dress and shoes take center stage. They call it mellow yellow. Victoria Beckham went mellow when she wore Roland Mouret's Kieber dress in primrose yellow dress recently. Lucy Liu attended a 2008 Summer TCA Tour press conference in Mouret's Montparnasse dress in the same color. Posh opted for a '60s-inspired look, chignon and all, while Lucy went more modern with turquoise earrings and patent nude Yves Saint Laurent sandals.
