Trend Alert: Ruffly Sandals

Ruffly sandals have taken our feet by storm with their ultra girly statement. They're the perfect way to incorporate sweet interest to your bubble toes and look great with cutoff shorts or a simple skirt. I'm a fan of the texture and depth, but they're a little too feminine for my taste. No worries, I can just nab a pair, like this Pour La Victoire Ella Zip Ruffle Sandal ($225), that tones down the froufrou with a badass zipper detailing. See, there's something for everyone.

OK, this is really weird. I was perusing eBay as usual when I came across the exact version of a vintage dress I got at a thrift store a few years ago: this Vintage Mod Bluish Purple Mini Dress, bust 38. As a proud owner, let me tell you, it has the ability to instantly induce fun. How can it not with those adorable polka dots, oversize bow, and ruffle collar?

French Connection Rina Ruffle Sweater: Love It or Hate It?

This French Connection Rina Ruffle Sweater ($100, originally $128) is quirky, but wearable. I can totally see Irish singer Roisin Murphy rocking it on stage. I dig its sheerness, the tiny vertical ruffles, but most of all, the loud color. A pair of gray skinny jeans would temper it well. What's your verdict? Too crazy or just your style?

Who Wore It Better? Phillip Lim Navy Ruffle Dress

Many of you adored the Phillip Lim navy ruffle dress Lindsay Price wore recently, and for good reason. The folded, tiered ruffles, the poofy shoulders - they're beyond charming. Apparently, model Liya Kebede loved it as much as we did, because she wore it out on a cold night in NYC. These ladies are wearing the same dress in the most opposite ways. Lindsay is party-ready in red suede Mary Janes and red lips. Liya, not so much. She's bundled to the max with black tights, black boots, and a black coat. Whose look are you digging more - Lindsay's playful version or Liya's moody take?
