Welcome to Part II of Sensitive SPF 30 For Your Face. Since there were just too many yummy and safe SPF 30s for sensitive skin out there, I couldn't help but write about a few more. Here are three additional sunscreens to help prevent premature aging and skin damage for all of you sun worshippers.

Estee Lauder Multi-Protection Sun Lotion for Face SPF 30, $22, is new and not only water resistant, but also combats the appearance of dark spots on your skin with its new ASP (anti-spot protection) formula.

ASP ensures that you tan evenly without getting any of those blotchy, patchy sun spots. This formula also helps protect your skin from environmental damage that can occur while you're in the sun.

In addition, special hydrators to guard your skin against unwanted and dangerous peeling and anti-oxidants have also been incorporated to ward off free radicals. This sunscreen is great for delicate, sensitive skin. It won't clog your pores and it smells fresh and beachy.

Skinceuticals Physical UV Defense SPF 30, $34, is great for those of you with hypersensitive skin. It's so gentle, it's even ok for children. I love the sleek silver tube, as well as the fact that it doesn't whiten on your face when you apply it.

This special sunscreen contains moisturizing and healing properties and is also PABA, oil and fragrance free. You can apply it under your makeup or for a day at the beach!

Clarins Sun Wrinkle Control Cream with SPF 30 , $27.50, is a lightweight, oil-free sun cream with the most incredible texture. It is heat resistant so it won't drip into your eyes, contains UVA, UVB and infra red sun protection all the while hydrating and nourishing your skin.

Sensitive SPF 30 For Your Face, Part I

Indulgences usually come with a price. Envision your body getting toasty warm and turning a gorgeous golden color. While that used to be fun as a child, if you haven't already learned by now - exposure to the sun without sunscreen can result in premature aging as well as skin damage and skin cancer.

The summer months are soon approaching and now is the time to respect and protect yourself. As I am sure you already know (but reminders never hurt), sunscreen should be applied evenly to your skin 30 minutes before exposure. Re-apply throughout the day and especially after swimming. Here are three of my favorite sensitive sunscreens for your face:

Apivita's Propoline High Protection Face Cream SPF 30 , $21, is suitable for those with sensitive/dry skin. It uses organic filters and is water resistant.

Its special ingredient is grape seed which is a natural botanical that helps fight aging by neutralizing free radicals. This sunscreen will help block out harmful UVA and UVB rays, hydrate your skin as well as strengthen your skin's natural defense system. Oh, and it smells amazing!

Lancaster Ultra Soothing Lotion for Delicate Skin, $24, is a very gentle, luxurious light cream formulated to offer high sun protection (blocks both UVA and UVB rays) without clogging your pores.

It combines moisturizing and sunscreen which is ideal for those times where you are going to be exposed to the sun for long periods of time and is also water resistant. This product will be available online for purchase on May 1st but is currently already in specialty stores.

Clinique UV-Response Face SPF 30, $14.50, is a water resistant, broad spectrum sun protection lotion that helps fight early signs of aging. It is also formulated to provide antioxidant protection that increases with the intensity of the sun. It's oil free and is great for those with sensitive skin.

Until recently, I never understood the appeal of tinted moisturizers. To me, this product, which combines foundation and moisturizer into one, seemed to suffer from the shampoo-plus-conditioner problem-that is, they were neither good moisturizers nor good concealers. All of the ones I tried just dried out my face and left my skin looking very uneven.

But after stumbling upon a DuWop version I really liked, I decided to give tinted moisturizers a second chance, and now, I'm hooked. When done right, this low-maintenance beauty product is truly amazing. A good tinted moisturizer goes on light and provides just enough coverage so you don't need foundation, basically eliminating a step from my beauty regimen. Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer, $40, available here. Available in seven great shades with just a touch of color, Mercier's award-winner comes with SPF 20 to protect against UVA and UVB rays.

Merle Norman Luxiva Sheer Defense Tinted Moisturizer, $35, available at Merle Norman stores nationwide. This sheer but flaw-concealing moisturizer comes in three colors and contains sunscreen as well as Vitamins C and E. (Thanks to JessNess for the tip!)

Bobbi Brown Cosmetics SPF 15 Tinted Moisturizer, $38, available here. The always reliable Bobbi Brown has created a great tinted moisturizer for dry skin that comes in seven different shades.

A Healthy Winter Tan

This Sunday marks the end of Daylight Saving Time, which means the days are going to get shorter. But just because the sun is going to be scarce doesn't mean you can't maintain a light, healthy-looking tan. (Please, just don't go overboard!) The advances in self-tanning products over the past few years have been so remarkable that there's really no excuse to lay out in the sun any more. Here are my favorite self-tanners for instant and gradual results for the face and body.

FOR QUICK RESULTS
Neutrogena Sunless Tanning Spray Micro Mist Medium, $10.99, available here. I've heard some people complain that this gets splotchy if your skin has dry patches, but I have dry skin and I've never had a problem. Just make sure to apply right after exfoliating in a moisture-free room (i.e., not the bathroom you just showered in) and rub it in for extra blending.

FOR THE FACE
Clarins Tinted Self Tanning Face Cream SPF 15, $28, available here. This amazingly even tinted lotion gives you a bronzed look while the self-tanner is working, and the added SPF 15 sunscreen keeps your face protected from the actual sun when you're outdoors.

FOR A GRADUAL TAN
Jergens Natural Glow Daily Moisturizer for Medium Skin Tones, $5.99, available here. Given, this product is slightly overexposed, but for good reason. The serious budget buy is one of the best gradual-tanning lotions out there. It goes on smooth without streaks and has a wonderful clean scent to boot.

On Our Radar: Davi Skin Care

Though many of you lovely ladies are far too young to start thinking about wrinkles, I think it's never too early to prevent those wretched lines. After conducting some research with scientists at University of California, Davis, Winemaker Carlo Mondavi (he's super cute, but that's besides the point!), grandson of Robert of Mondavi Winery in Napa Valley, discovered that fermented grapes from his family's vineyards are filled with antioxidants. So he created Davi skin care, which combines extracts of grapes and wine, along with green tea and other products that are good for smoothing out your skin.

Bergdorf Goodman sells the line for women and men, which includes face creams, toners, SPF lotions and purifying cleansers. Though it's a tad expensive ($50 for SPF lotion), money should be no object when looking out for your skin. After all, it's the skin you're going to be in for life so you better take care of it starting today!
