I'm totally impressed with the Emmys red carpet this year! There was some good variety, experimentation, and color. This lineup of the bests of the night are all different; and it was really tough narrowing it down. I have a few favorites, and you're looking at a couple of them - who was yours?!

2009 Primetime Emmy Awards: Sandra Oh

Sandra Oh smiled her way to the Emmy Awards wearing a strapless gold-beaded Marchesa gown. The darker metallic hue complements her skin tone, and I love the trendy tassel belt. Gold-drop earrings, a statement ring, and black-satin clutch complete her look. Does it dazzle you?

Who Wore It Better? Roland Mouret Primrose Yellow Dress

This isn't the first time Victoria Beckham battles it out with another star in her Roland Mouret primrose yellow dress. First she went head to head with Lucy Liu (and lost) and now she has to compete with Sandra Oh. While Posh wore her dress with oversized sunnies and black pointy pumps, Sandra opted for a cuff bracelet, strappy shoes, and a gray clutch. Plus, Sandra's is slightly longer. They both have the same one-hand-on-hip stance going on but whose yellow Roland Mouret confection takes the cake?

2008 Emmy Awards: Sandra Oh

Sandra Oh opted to wear an intricate black lace Oscar de la Renta dress to the Emmys. What looks to be fluttery organza squares on the bottom half of her gown is offset with fancy lace detailing up top. A black Romanek Lizzy clutch and eye catching diamond Bulgari studs finish off her look. What do you think?

Ladies in Oscar Red

I love seeing red on the Oscars red carpet. And I'm not alone: Nicole Kidman, Uma Thurman, and Kate Winslet have all arrived in past years with a little fire in their eyes . . . and on their dresses. Catherine Zeta-Jones likes wearing red so much, she's a double-offender - her crimson years were 1999 and 2004. Perhaps we'll have a new lady in red come next Sunday, but in the meantime, let's look to the past for inspiration, kicking it off with Lucy Liu looking Fab in Versace.

Primetime Emmy Awards: A Little Black and White With Your Red Carpet?

These ladies kept it classic and sophisticated in their black and white gowns on the Emmys Red Carpet tonight. Although all of these dresses had a similar color scheme, each one is unique. From Debra Messing's Ralph Lauren mermaid gown and Edie Falco's pretty beading to Sandra Oh's minimal black strapless and Christina's magic bump-hiding Valentino, each one was a statement on its own. Can I just say: we saw some major gorgeousness tonight! We saw a rainbow of colors, an array of shapes and some dazzling jewels (and shoes!). Alas, there can only be one best dressed lady from tonight's Emmys. Will it be red hot Ali? Sparkling Eva? Matching duo Ellen and Portia? Sleek Sandra? Glowing Minnie? Or Dior-clad Heidi? The fashion fate of these ladies is in your hands so vote away!

SAG Awards Red Carpet: My A-List & B-List

Overall, I was disappointed by last night's SAG red carpet style. I was hoping since it was the awards show amongst the actors and their Hollywood peers, people would have a bit more fun with their choices. Save the gorgeous gowns for the Oscars and raise the hemlines and work the colors for the SAGs! Here is my A-List & B-List:

A-List

Diane Kruger stopped me in my tracks last night. I didn't post a poll about it, and the more I see this Christian Dior asymmetrical champagne sequined dress the more I love it! Her hair looks great, very natural and off her face, to showcase her natural, goddess glow. Her makeup made her facial features appear very strong, and she exudes confidence. Her cleavage was pretty, but not in-your face, and her skin was perfection. Quite the beauty, Joshua Jackson is a lucky guy!

While I really want to see something more modern and possibly with a higher hemline on her, I thought Katherine Heigl was a ray of sunshine on the red carpet. This one shoulder gown hugged her curvaceous figure, the draping was fantastic, and the bright tangerine color was killer. Her golden locks were bouncy and bright, in classic Veronica Lake style, and her dark eyeliner created an air of mystique. We know she can do blonde bombshell, can she do anything else?

This was a hard decision for me but I think Sandra Oh is glowing in this strapless Armani cream lace princess gown. She just looks like she's having so much fun and makes me want to twirl around in that dress too! I know some of you thought her black pin was weird, but I think it breaks up the pattern - though maybe a belt would have been better. I love the pulled back black curls and her daring red lips. Oh Sandra, brava!

B-List

I cannot begin to explain how many things are wrong here. Rachel McAdams what are you doing?! Are you so blinded by love you have thrown any personal style by the wayside? Here is my tisk tisk list: feathered hair with controversial highlights, white dress with pale ass skin, white pumps with white dress, and lame red carpet poses. And the dress? Was simply too big on her, and aren't we all over white after the Golden Globes? Sorry cutie pie.

Did anyone else think that Ellen Pompeo looked like an alien? Her Lanvin eggplant adorned neck gown would have been fab if worn with less severe hair and minimal jewelry but she loaded on the theatrics. I know it's the red carpet, where drama applies, but she overdosed on it. This was all just too much for her small frame.

Here is Eva Longoria looking as short as ever. Really, this grey Vera Wang gown with an asymmetrical flower rosette detail, shrinks her already petite frame. She had to have some high heels on underneath there but this gown just did not flatter her figure. The draping is also a bit off at the bottom, making it look like a pool of fabric spilled on either side of her. And her makeup: enough with the super long false eyelashes and hair extensions. Can you be less fake next time Eva?
