Lady in red, begone — ladies in white are in full force. Sarah Michelle Gellar, Nicole Kidman, and Fergie all stepped onto Glamour's 2008 Women of the Year carpet in varying white gowns. Fergie (in Michael Kors) and Nicole (in L'Wren Scott) opted for floor-length while Sarah Michelle kept hers short.
Who Wore It Better? Bottega Veneta Strapless Black Gown
Sarah Michelle Gellar wore this dramatic and classy Bottega Veneta strapless black gown at the Costume Institute Gala and she chose to accessorize with a crocodile clutch and artsy earrings. Christina Ricci wore the same dress at the Chopard Party in Cannes pairing her look with a clutch similar to Gellar's and opted to keep her earrings simple. She did, however, go heavy on the collarbone with a diamond crusted emerald necklace.

Sarah went for understated chic in her minimalist long black strapless dress. For me, it's very middle of the road. I wish she had gone for more of a statement, especially with the superheroes theme of the night.
Trend Alert: Mochachinos
While I am more of a Chai latte girl, these ladies are making me yearn for a Mochachino. If you looked in my closet the least color you will see is beige or camel or tan — you get my point. When I feel like going colorless I prefer black or grey.
