Derek Lam Fall 2012

Derek Lam's runway show today at St. John's center was worth the freezing trek through wind tunnels. For Fall, Lam mixed his ladylike style with a sportif twist melding chic separates with a menswear twist. Pretty ivory floral satin bomber jackets were paired with pencil skirts and finished off with eye-catching cap-toe ankle boots and metallic loafers. Additionally, there were sharp metallic suit sets, quirky collars, and pleated wide-leg cropped trousers made in wool, leather, and, for a glitzy touch, sequins. Lam's effortless style was also translated into a beautiful array of ivory and black languid silk gowns paired with textural cable-knit sweaters. Matthew, Cindy, Christina, and Joe Dress Up to Check Out Cirque's New Show

Many of Hollywood's hottest couples hit the red carpet in LA yesterday for the premiere of Iris, a new production from Cirque du Soleil. Matthew McConaughey threw on a fancy vest to pose alongside his sequined ladylove Camila Alves, while Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber shared an afternoon out with their kids. Christina Hendricks posed with husband Geoffrey Arend, as did Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka. NPH was impressed with what he saw, basically tweeting a rave review. He wrote, "Just saw the premiere of Cirque du Soleil's new show Iris. It's ammazing! If you come to Hollywood, it is a must see! Best show in years!" Recently single Joe Manganiello was looking hunky before the show began, and he was able to mingle with some other single stars like Vanessa Hudgens.

Argyle Makes a Comeback

Argyle isn't just for socks anymore. Lately, this classic, preppy diamond pattern has been showing up in the most unexpected places, from shoes to arm warmers and even a tube top.
