Seven For All Mankind Celebrates 10 Years - Shop the Anniversary Collection!

I still remember my first pair of Sevens - I couldn't wait to get my hands on a pair of the cool-kid denim. After that, I couldn't buy a pair of jeans without wanting a premium pair. That's all thanks to Seven, whose namesake launched in 2000 and changed the denim industry and the way we wear jeans with a decidedly designer edge. Ten years later, Seven's celebrating its anniversary with a line of limited-edition denim, dubbed the "Case Study Denim," and featuring five styles for men and women. Each piece retails from $149 to $750 and is available online and in stores.

But, if owning a piece of the collector's denim line seems a pricey investment, there's another way to get your hands on the jeans - the anniversary coffee table book, titled The Seven Senses, is a 264-page brand monograph with photography by Jeff Burton, Guy Aroch, Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, and more, all bound in the label's own premium denim.

Alexis Bledel has been on a major style kick lately, showing up on our Fashion Week radar. This time, she stepped out for a Mulberry soiree, doing party-girl chic to perfection. Oh, who could forget Baby and her coming-of-age quest in the Summer of '63? Once she meets Johnny it's buh-bye family fun, hello sexy dance parties. But aside from sultry Summer love, it's also a study in easy, retro-fied chic. We're thrilled to present our favorite Lucky story here on Fab!

The L.A.-based denim brand has partnered with one of Japan's most famous photographers, Mika Ninagawa (she's repped by the same gallery that introduced us to Takashi Murakami), to produce seven limited-edition summer-perfect pieces. Here's a peek at two of them.

Ninagawa's vivid, conceptual still life photos of flowers are riveting to look at--and are an ingenious way to add a pop of color to your weekend wardrobe. I would pair the tee with a chic flippy mini for a night out (a la Proenza Schouler), or with a super-sleek below-the-knee pencil skirt for a hint of Jil Sander-dom. The shorts would look great with a white tee or white button-down silk shirt and leather wedges. Both pieces really are perfect pick-me-ups.

The collection, priced from $89 to $198, will be available in mid-August at all Seven for All Mankind boutiques across the U.S.

Kate Moss knows denim. Have you noticed she lives in jeans most of the time? As do I. While Kate frequently fashions black and gray jeans, this baby blue denim is her way of showing she's ready for Summer. The lighter hue is more casual, more Cali cool. And, it makes her black boots and silky black blazer pop. I love the slight '70s feel, too; a wide leg paired with a striped tank is a classic look. Skinnies look good with just about anything - especially a white tee and exotic gold jewels. It's so easy, easy.

I admit, dungarees aren't for everyone, but if there's an inner Laura Ashley hiding inside of you, now is the time to release her. Personally, I kinda love this kickback style. While Ralph Lauren paired his denim overalls with gold peep-toe heels for his Spring collection, I prefer mine with some fun flats. Retailers offer a range of styles varying from slim-fitting to baggier cuts. Glad I kept my pair from the '90s . . .
