UGG boots are bulky enough with all that thick shearling, but when you add ribbons and more height, it's just too much. I can't see myself, or anyone else for that matter, pulling off Love From Australia's Vixen Suede Over-the-Knee Boot ($400). In Antarctica they might come in handy, but I'd choose cold over tacky any day. Are you with me?

Shearling isn't just for sherpas anymore. This fluffy white trim can be made from sheared sheep's wool or synthetic materials, depending on the piece. I admit, I was never a fan of FitFlops, but now that the brand has enlisted Anna Sui to design a line of cozy boots, I might reconsider. FitFlop - known for designing footwear that's biomechanically engineered to help tone and tighten your leg muscles while you walk in them - has collaborated with the bohemian designer to create these Shakoha Shearling Boots ($290). The line will be exclusively available at Net-A-Porter.com on Nov.11 and ShopIntuition.com starting Nov. 20. Are you loving them?

A Fabby Halloween: Amelia Airhart

Call me kooky, but I always thought her name was Amelia Airhart - "Air" because she pioneered the friendly skies. Her actual name was Amelia Earhart, and I obviously have some learning to do. Good thing a biopic, starring Hilary Swank, is coming out this Fall. I'm a sucker for shearling, plaid, and fun eyegear, and aviator style is super cute. And easy to assemble - but flight goggles are key. You may recall flight of the aviator was a favorite New York Fashion Week Fall trend. Heads up! On-trend sky style heading your way.

Charlotte Ronson often flirts with tough outerwear and vintage prints; this cute look can be easily emulated if you already have a plaid dress and sporty vest. Done and done. I already broke it down as to why you need a maxi skirt this season, so allow me to preach on. When looking for outerwear pieces, a dope leather jacket is a serious Fall essential.

I've been looking for the perfect leather jacket all my life. I'm not being dramatic. The search was well worth it after finding this Rick Owens Shearling Bomber Jacket ($2,695).

This jacket is perfection in every way. I love the cozy shearling lining and the simple cut is timeless. The slight asymmetrical zipper is an expert special touch. How about wearing it with a flowy chiffon dress or ankle skimming pants? Be inspired.

On Our Radar: Ugg Enlists Rozae Nichols for Outerwear Line

Expanding on the success of their shoe collection, UGG Australia has just enlisted Los Angeles-based Rozae Nichols to design an outwear collection. Rozae is very excited about the collaboration stating, "I was very attracted to the project. I like leathers and shearlings. They're very interesting materials to work with."

The humble yet luxurious collection will include shearling jackets, reversible vests, and suede bombers intertwining Nichols' design aesthetic along with UGG's classic styling. Sounds cozy.
