Style-savvy Emma Roberts stopped by The Jay Leno Show in an ensemble that's enviable head to toe. What I'm majorly attracted to is the black sequined cardigan she's wearing over her Kova & T gray tank. It dazzles just enough, but it's not overly glitzy. Also love the subtle pouf shoulders. If you're with me, I found a similar sequined cardi that will give you the look, minus the wallet burn.

Here's a fine example of one festive piece that goes a long way. A lot of friends tell me they prefer dresses over skirts - there's less planning involved. Well, if you examine Jessica Stroup's fine 'fit she wore to the second annual Golden Globes Salute to Young Hollywood Party, it's all about basics . . . and a metallica mini. Less bold than a metallica jacket, I think you could push this party piece beyond the basics. Push it real good.

I have three, and counting. Even though little plaid jackets feel so right in the Winter, a lighter weight one, or a freshly colored one, can translate for Spring, too. Who's that girl in her LPJ? Why it's the always-adorable Christina Ricci. She teamed hers with skinny jeans, cat-eye sunnies, and a luscious gray Chanel bag. Not too shabby. A look that works for both the city and the country - and the road trip in between.

I already have a tweed Chanel-inspired jacket, but I don't have a cool tweed blazer . . . This Smythe Tweed Slouchy Boyfriend Blazer ($550) is bound to add a smart edge to any ensemble. It would look especially dapper with a pair of liquid leggings and some black-rimmed glasses. Unfortunately, I can't afford to dish that much on a blazer right now.
