HP's New Digital Diet

If you've ever wish your photos could be touched up like celebrities on magazine covers, you're now in luck. Hewlett Packard has just come out with seven different versions of its Photosmart Digital Slimming Cameras, which include a feature that can make your photo subjects look up to 10 pounds thinner. When the slimming effect is applied, the pixels of the photo are compressed in the center and expanded on the edges, so everything stays in proportion.

The slimming features is basically like having photo editing software at your fingertips, and it's really easy to use. All you do is:

Take a photo.
Go to the menu on the back of the camera, select an image and press OK.
Highlight the design/gallery menu and press OK.
Highlight "apply artist effects."
Adjust the level of the slimming effect using the arrows and press OK. The original image that you took will always be saved just in case you don't like the way it turned out.

I'm always seeing straight and slim cuts, but myrinda is rocking a nuevo silhouette. Brave girl! I love the bagginess of her trousers and how it's balanced out by a super girlie ruffle blouse. Stacked gold necklaces and a skinny tan belt keep the look from being too serious.

And the way the stripes lay - diagonal rather than horizontal - they accentuate her curves and slim her waist, so flattering. Very much like Cameron's Chanel frock - right on!

Look of The Day: We Love Ankle Boots!

In case you haven't heard: ankle boots are here to stay. A favorite shoe from this past Fall, they are a key accessory for this coming Fall so store them away properly during the warm summer months, i.e. in a shoe box or shoe bag.

These are tricky to wear, so I suggest you show some skin, so the boot doesn't crop your leg, and keep the silhouette streamlined. Another option is to wear them with slim pants that hit just at the top of the foot, so you can show off the boots. Have fun with it, but one thing is for certain: WhiplashGirlchild and I love our ankle boots! and you should give them a whirl too.
