Fab Flash: The (Other) Ronsons Jump on the Designing Bandwagon

Charlotte Ronson isn't the only one with a designing bone in her family. Her siblings, Samantha and Mark Ronson, will also be testing out their fashion skills with two separate footwear endeavors. Lindsay's lovah created black and gold high-top sneakers for Supra's Indy silhouette - check her out sporting her rad genesis. Mark took it to the next level and teamed up with Gucci to design a mini collection of men's shoes, priced between $500 to $600, called Gucci Ronson. Samatha's sneakers costs $148 and is available at Factory413.com. Mark's limited-edition SKUs will be available exclusively at Gucci's Icon-Temporary pop-up stores in the Fall. No doubt, this family has talent!

Here's the thing. I love cool kicks, and I dream about exotic locales. Therefore, I should adore these Simple Sunset Joe Curran eco-friendly sneakers ($60), right? Surfer and photographer Joe Curren’s eco-friendly sneaker collection for Simple Shoes embodies the world of surfing with his images of the waves and sunsets. Talk about eco: the shoe is made of certified organic cotton, laces are made out of recycled plastic bottles, outsole is made from recycled car tires. There's a more boyish version avail if you're thinking maybe for your beau . . .

Fab Flash: Leighton Reveals Her Reeboks

One wouldn't think Gossip Girl Leighton Meester is the type to sport kicks during her offtime, but her ad for Reebok proves otherwise. "Leighton was chosen because she is the ultimate city girl," said a Reebok spokesperson. "These trainers are perfect for the modern urban woman, featuring Reebok's characteristic comfort and premium material use coupled with a fresh, adaptable look."

Check out Leighton pictured against a city backdrop, wearing a pair of Reebok Top Down sneakers - available nationwide - along with a coral American Apparel skirt and tank. We still think it's a random choice, but who knows?

Fab Flash: Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick Are Feeling Sneaky

On screen, the steamy duo of Gossip Girl are dressed to the nines in designer duds but in their spare time, the two are busy promoting sneakers. Random. According to sources, Meester inked a deal with Reebok to be the face of their ad campaign while Westwick recently signed on with K-Swiss - love it or leave it?

Meester wears a pair of black high-top sneakers, black skirt, tank, and duffle bag in her sporty Reebok campaign. On the flip side, Westwick dressed his pearly white K-Swiss's with a dapper khaki suit and his signature pout. Being that we've never seen the two wearing sneakers on- or offscreen, I'm finding these endorsements a little off-target. What do you think?

Fab Finding Follow-Up: Playing My Own Tour Guide

I have lived in San Francisco for a couple years now, but I have not yet seen everything there is to be seen. While the weather is still nice, I am discovering boroughs I haven't yet trekked to. Since I'll be playing my own tour guide, I asked you to play my stylist. I needed an ensemble I can walk hours in but that maintains a level of style.
