Olivia Palermo and Scarlett Johansson Design Shoes For Stuart Weitzman

A couple weeks back, we got a glimpse of Stuart Weitzman's Young Hollywood Cares Collection when Olivia Palermo wore them to a red carpet event and now, the complete collection is out for perusal. The collaboration enlisted Scarlett Johansson, Hayden Panettiere, Michelle Trachtenberg, and Olivia Palermo to co-design a pair of shoes with Stuart Weitzman in which all proceeds will benefit Marsha Moses’ research in ovarian cancer at the Folkman Institute in Boston. Like most Weiztman's decadent creations, the footwear does't come cheap: the collection ranges from $425 to $495 but at least you know all of sales will go to good cause. The Look For Less: Stuart Weitzman Studded Platforms

I recently realized I don't have any cute brown sandals. So I set off on a search and landed upon these Stuart Weitzman Brown Apron Studded Platforms ($365). They're clunky like a clog but still totally sexy. I envision wearing them with everything from flirty floral frocks to denim shorts to skinny jeans. It's too bad my wallet envisions them digging a huge hole in it. Boo!

read more. These N.Y.L.A. Heather Platform Pumps ($77 or $110, depending on size) are much more agreeable for my wallet. True, there are slight differences - the main one being laces versus buckle - but overall they have the same brown hue, gold studs, cutouts, and chunky platform. Good enough for me, good enough for my wallet.
