Suits Star Patrick Adams Talks Love, Lawyers, and His Stroke of Luck

Patrick Adams has much to celebrate. Not only did the star of Suits just earn a SAG Award nomination for his role as the smart-but-calculating Mike Ross, but his new series Luck makes its official premiere this Sunday! The actor stopped by PopSugar's LA studio recently to talk about what's ahead for Mike's messy love life and increasingly precarious career on season two of his USA series, and to give us a preview of his role on Luck, in which he acts opposite Hollywood heavyweights like Dustin Hoffman. He also divulged a story about a part he took in an effort to romance his now girlfriend, Pretty Little Liars star Troian Bellisario. Be sure to catch Patrick on upcoming episodes of Luck, which premieres Sunday on HBO at 9 p.m., and on Suits when it makes its return to the airwaves in mid March!

United Bamboo Floral Print Suit: Love It or Hate It?

I love florals, but it's usually associated with soft, flowy things rather than a structured pant and jacket. It's certainly a more retro, whimsical take on a traditional work uniform. Kate Hudson left her casual California style behind when she jetsetted to London. The actress headed to dinner in a white suit, blue striped shirt, and Jimmy Choo's bracelet hobo. Silk scarves were all over Dolce & Gabbana's Fall collection, and now one has made its way onto Kate's neck. Nice. Since this look is a tad whitewashed, I also provided a metallic gray Kooba purse for some variety.

Only Kate Moss can make going from a suit to a bikini seem totally normal. The supermodel got dressed up in one of my new favorite color combinations: white and ivory. Her ivory suit means business but looks all pleasure, and her crisp white tank lends the casualness that Kate craves. The brown wedge sandals also dress down the look and make it more hot-weather practical. Here is proof that suits don't always have to equal business.

If only all of us could look as cool as Emina on the Bottega Veneta Spring runway in sleepy suiting. Well, we can certainly try! Who's with me? I suggest you wake up and dust off your suit trousers, raid your boyfriend's/brother's closet and get to work. However, the key to this look is to appear totally nonchalant. Now, we're working hard for the unfussy look, therefore unkempt hair, bedroom eyes and little (or no) accessories are perfect bed buddies.

For all you young professionals out there whose suits are like a uniform, take a breath of fresh air. No more hauling piles of blazers, pants, and skirts back and forth to the dry cleaners on a weekly basis!

Nicole by Nicole Miller has an affordable "Smart Suit" at JCPenney: $132 for jackets, $72 for pants, and $60 for skirts. Erin Fetherston for Target has the more feminine washable skirt suit at left coming out in mid-November, and Kohl's Apt. 9 label offers a washable tweed pantsuit. Some are also wrinkle-resistant, so you can just wash and wear.
