Sneak Peek! Aldo Crystallized Swarovski Elements Collection

For Winter '09, Aldo is going shiny...majorly shiny. That's because it has teamed up with Swarovski to create an exclusive jewelry collection made with crystallized Swarovski elements. As you can imagine, there's no shortage of bling baubles to choose from. The headlining piece is the Huzzard, a bib necklace made with 582 crystallized Swarovski elements. The collection, ranging from $40 to $180, also includes statement rings, a jeweled headband, chunky cuffs. They will all be available starting Nov. 16 at Aldo stores and Aldoshoes.com.

Swarovski Store Opening Gathers Famous Jewelry Fans

It was the Swarovski Crystallized concept store opening in NYC last night, so as you can imagine, there was no shortage of sparkle. Famous jewelry fans like Blake Lively, Chloë Sevigny, Lucy Liu, and Evan Rachel Wood all attended and partied around the bling. I'm sure a few of them even went home glitter-handed. From the looks of it, it's a minimalist, modern store, one side with a rustic brick wall. Of course, cases upon cases house Swarovski's magical baubles. Side note: Swarovski was set to dress the late Michael Jackson in 300,000 crystals for his London tour. That would have been out of this world. Step inside to discover the brand's new store.

Holy glamour puss. Check out Elizabeth Banks in head-to-toe beaded Andrew Gn. She's truly outrageous. The Cannes Film Festival just began and she's already on my best dressed list. The cap sleeves and sweetheart neck are old-school gorgeous and the subtle train is divine. And the black and blue hues are mysterious. Her cat-like eye makeup and sexy curls are also worth mentioning. She could have ditched the thick black cuffs though a simple black satin Swarovski clutch is perfection. Are you as bedazzled as I am?

Celebrity Style: Brittany Snow

Longtime Fab pal Brittany Snow attended the LA premiere of 17 Again outshining everybody in her stylishly sassy ensemble. She kept the color palette light with a soft yellow Erin Fetherston dress, topped with a cropped gray and white cloudy blazer. Her finishing touches include a pair of strappy black patent Jimmy Choo sandals, Swarovski drop earrings, stacked bangles, and a black clutch. I wouldn't change a single thing . . . que bonita!

This Week's Fab Favorite: Emily Blunt

Style seems to follow Emily. She always manages to look stellar on the red carpet. She kinda blew me away at the Young Victoria UK premiere this week. Her silky Vivienne Westwood has a couple areas of interest. One, the signature bustled bodice. Two, the sweet mini brocade print. I continue to advocate prints on the red carpet - where art thou? This is a great example of a fancy print. And look! It has pockets. Way cool. Spherical black and gunmetal earrings brought in a baroque angle, as well as her thick bangles and dark nails. Sweet and spicy, just the way I like it.
