Fab Finding Follow-Up: King Tut Exhibit at the de Young Museum

Last weekend, I headed to the exclusive King Tut exhibit at the de Young Museum here in SF - so exciting. I saw Tutankhamun's tomb, ancient artifacts, and precious objects relating to the 18th dynasty. Cool, huh? My educational self-immersion took a whole day, so I needed you to put together a sleek ensemble that would withstand a lot of walking and staring.

Fab Finding Followup: Pool Par-tay

Splish splash - I attended a super-fun pool party last weekend. Finding a splashy outfit is simple but the twist(er) was my parents were also in attendance. It's been a while since we've seen a gorgeous boho look and leave it to Kate to deliver. This outfit is all about the accessories; Kate is a master at piling it on, from the turquoise earrings to the layered necklaces (Kathy Rose Arrowhead Necklace) to the stacked rings. Chloe's white draped and knotted Marios Schwab cotton dress may be very Venice beach circa 1982, but like many of her rare finds, Chloe rocks it with aplomb. She even has the beachy hair - and Jimmy Choo sandals - to go with. The standout detail on her cool dress is the knot that gives way to a high thigh slit. If you too are feeling knotty, there are hybrids aplenty. Knots are a majestic detail that can make a top, dress, or piece of jewelry unique. I have a twisted pair of studs that always pique interest.
