Fab Flash: Tara Subkoff Takes FORM

"Karmic and cosmic" is how Tara Subkoff describes her new position as the artistic director of FORM's Spring '09 collection.

FORM founder Jerry Tam, the first one ousted from this season of Project Runway, had ties with Subkoff in the past as her intern at Imitation of Christ. "It's so great to be able to support one of my first interns at such a crucial time," said Subkoff.

Despite FORM's angular past, the new designs are said to encompass softer lines that were inspired by the Rococo movement using gauze, cottons, and silks. The collection will debut during the upcoming New York Fashion Week.

On Our Radar: Tara Subkoff for Bebe

As I reported back in August, Imitation of Christ designer Tara Subkoff just debuted an exclusive line for Bebe, kicking off the company's initiative to collaborate with designers.

The capsule collection is in stores now, and for those of you looking to get romantic come Valentine's Day, it's perfect. The color palette is red, black, and white, with an accenting heart print and quilted heart bag. All you last minute Valentiners out there - you know who you are - get yourselves to a store or Bebe.com, where the line is retailing $59-$189.

P.S. Tara's pal Chloe Sevigny is already a fan - she was spotted wearing a red ruffled heart print dress from the line just a couple of days ago.

On Our Radar: What's Next for Imitation of Christ

Tara Subkoff has quite a few new tricks up her sleeve - for both herself and her Imitation of Christ label.

She's been working on a capsule collection called Tara Subkoff for Bebe that will debut at Bebe stores in Spring 2008, full of "super wearable, really sexy and modern" pieces. She also has a diffusion line for Imitation of Christ, called Imitation, in the works for Fall. And finally, in the spirit of change, Tara is looking to sell Imitation of Christ. Change is good right?

Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman Wrap Up a Wild West Coast Trip

Anne Hathaway and Adam Shulman packed up their gear and caught a flight out of LAX yesterday afternoon. The couple had been on the West Coast for a few weeks while Anne took care of some movie business and caught up with friends. Anne presented Rachel Zoe with an award on Monday at the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center benefit.

The socializing came during a busy period for Anne. In addition to planning her wedding with Adam, she's also prepping for a new role. Anne will star in Les Miserables as Fantine alongside Hugh Jackman and Amanda Seyfried. The movie is to be directed by Academy Award-winning director Tom Hooper, who was the man behind The King's Speech. Tom's in the news today due to the end of his relationship with Tara Subkoff, a NYC-based fashion designer.
