Five years ago, Target started collaborating with some of the industry's best - now it's celebrating Target Go International with a fabulous 34-piece collection created by 17 previously featured designers. Luella Bartley, Tara Jarmon, Paul & Joe, Behnaz Sarafpour, Proenza Schouler, Libertine, Alice Temperley, Erin Fetherston, Jovovich-Hawk, Rogan, Richard Chai, Jonathan Saunders, Thakoon, Tracy Feith, Rodarte, Zac Posen, and Tucker will all contribute fun dresses, available in stores and online March 13 through April 10. While we anxiously wait, here are 10 pieces we hope to see re-created come Spring!

Target Taps Tucker's Gaby Basora and Temple St. Claire

Fresh off the heels of its latest collab with Zac Posen, Target has already tapped two new designers for its next Go International and limited-edition jewelry series. First up is Tucker's Gaby Basora. The print queen - known for drawing influences from National Geographic to candy wrappers - will create a collection for Target's Go International line dropping Sept. 12. You excited?

For jewels, Target chose the magnificent Temple St. Clair. With baubles ranging upward of $30,000 from her namesake line, now is our chance to grab a much cheaper rendition of her ethereal designs. Temple's collection will debut Aug. 29. Both collections will be available at most Target stores and at Target.com.

It was a glorious day when we announced that Rodarte is collaborating with Target. It will be even more exciting on Dec. 20, when the collection debuts. Here's a sneak peek of what's in store for us. Lace and tulle frocks, leopard-print sequin dresses, netted tights, and bow belts all sound fabulous. Even more fabulous is the price range - $10 to $80. Basically, the raw Rodarte aesthetic minus the stinging price tag.

Are Mass-Market Designer Collaborations Passé?

By now, every fashion fan has dipped her wallet into at least one high/low designer collaboration. Take your pick - Target Go International, H&M, Urban Outfitters, Mango, and so on. The latest one, between Liberty of London and Target, will produce a limited-edition collection of fashion and home goods for March 2010. With the amount of high and low partnerships out there, it begs the question: Is the market saturated? Are you over it? On one hand, it's great that the budget conscious can afford designer, but adversely, it's hard to keep up! What do you think?

Posen Hits the Target

The next high-end designer to hit Target is New York darling Zac Posen. While Rodarte for Target hits stores and online Dec. 20, we already have the next collab to look forward to. Posen's Go International collection will be at most stores and Target.com April 25 through May 30.

The price point hasn't been disclosed, but it's sure to mirror Target's past ultra-affordable Go collections. Looks like Zac is bent on bringing his designs to the masses - remember, we just announced his lower-priced diffusion line Z Spoke for Saks.

I'm certain Zac's whimsical aesthetic will translate to Target's youthful racks quite seamlessly.

Rodarte to Go International For Target

What a glorious day! It has just been announced that Kate and Laura Mulleavy are designing a 55-piece Rodarte line for Target Go International, which lands in stores and online on Dec. 20. "It’s very feminine, yet very modern. The collection incorporates a rich mix of patterns and fabrications and everything from sequins and bows to faux fur. The key with Rodarte is layering," said Target spokesperson Joshua Thomas. Prices will range from $9.99 for knee-highs to $79.99 for a leopard-print jacket. Also, expect to see a variety of holiday dresses. All of Target's designer collaborations have been great, but this one I'm standing in line for.

The Look For Less: Balmain Crystal-Embellished Jacket

This Balmain Crystal-Embellished Jacket ($11,410) is undeniably fly, but besides Beyonce and a couple other celebs, I don't know anyone willing to fork over the dough for such a trendy statement piece. I love the kitschy, band-jacket-inspired style, but paying that much is not even a faint possibility . . .
